Top needs to be redesigned

I love this trash can. It is easy for all four of my children to use and it keeps the animals out. I also love the fact that the bags stay in place-they have to be installed properly for it them to stay-hence my husband or I have to install the new bag, not the kids! My only complaint is that they need to redesign the front plastic latch. Mine broke in half after just 3 months. I guess from all the opening & closing. Durable

Durible but I wish ther was a way to open it without touching it with your dirty hands. I love that it keeps the dog out!

happy with trash can

I bought the trash can to keep my 2 year old out. This one works, but after 6 months the tab that opens and holds lid closed broke. I called customer service and they are sending me one within 7-10 business days. I haven't had any problems with the liner lock system, unless my husband :-) replaces the liner.

Stupid

I bought this thing because the trashbag isn't supposed to fall and my dog couldnt push a foot pedal to get into it... however every time I go to open the lid the whole darn lid comes off! It snapped the first two weeks of use and that was it, the lid falls off instead of the trash bag falling down!

Problem with spring top trip hatch

The cannister is attractive and durable but the top spring top trip hatch broke after about 2 months. This waste can needs a better and durable spring top hatch. It will pop up but over time it would not latch back.

Loved it until...

I looked for awhile for a can I liked. I loved the design of this one (I hate the bullet styles). I use 30 gal. bags in my 13 gal cans because the others fail. However the latch is a bad design. The idea is great, love the idea. But the latch is simply a creased and bent piece of plastic which will fail. Of course it will fail because it is creased therefore thinner. Wish I would have read the reviews first

Loved it until................... the plastic spring top lid broke after 1 month! What a waste of money - can't buy a replacement lid so now we need to find another trash can. Wish I would have read the reviews FIRST.

Great for the first two weeks

This is a fabulous trash can..........for the first two weeks. The clip that actually holds the lid down is made of thin plastic and will break off. Since replacement lids are not available, you are stuck with your average open top trashcan...unless you want to spend more money and buy a new one.

Good Idea, but

I really liked the idea of the liner lock and once we figured it out it worked very well. The only complaint I have, as other have pointed out, is that the lock broke after two weeks of use. It seems to fatigue easy from it being pressed down to open the lid. We purchased this can because we got a dog and needed to keep her out.

Problematic

This spring top lid waste can has a difficult spring top release mechanism in order to open the lid. The liner lock does not lock the plastic bag liner in place. The lid does not secure tightly in place around the rim. This waste can was returned immediately. Will not recommend this purchase to anyone.

Loved This can

I love the liner lock, it was easy for the kids and the bag stayed in place. My only complaint is the lid broke after 2 weeks, not the liner lock portion but the part that kept the lid closed.

Not worth the money

Contrary to advertising, the bag does not stay in place. You drop in one item that has any significant weight to it, and you're fishing the bag out of the bottom of the can. The lid doesn't stay closed all the time, and pops open randomly. I'm completely disappointed in this trash can, and after only six weeks of use, I am going to buy a different can this weekend when shopping.
