No bags

I bought this two days ago and have bought 2 different trash bag boxes trying to get one to fit my 13 gal can. Can't find one. Does this mean I have to size up? I haven't been able to see if the liner lock works because the bags I bought don't cover the circumference.

Doesn’t hold bag

Bought this a month ago and can’t find bag to fit...try to lock in and bag slips right in tried many different 13 gallon bag...can made durable but doesn’t lock in bags

Can't get cover to stay closed !

The lid will not stay closed !! It used to stay closed and about a month ago it now just springs open. I have tried everything to get it to stay closed. Not happy!

Where's my half star at?

I concur with every other review on this site. I spent too much money on a trash can I cant even use! The lid is always coming off and never stays. The interlocking part on the inside doesn't work with basic trash bags. A waste of time and money!

Won't stay closed

I bought this can with the touch top a few months ago, and could never get the lid to close. Didn't bother me then, but now I have a puppy that constantly gets into it. I tried finagling the lid to make it stay closed, but it won't work.

Owned 2 days and hate it

This is literally the worst design of what seemed to be a good idea. The liner lock is too wide for the garbage bags. I have tried two different brands of bags and verified they are the proper size. The liner lock is too wide for the bags and the bag thus squeezes the plastic liner lock so it will not clip into the side of the trash can. This then holds the liner locks in the up position and the lid never closes. I will be buying a new one.

Can't keep top closed

Plastic on plastic does not work. When changing the bag the LinerLock never holds the bag in place because the locks slip out of the holes. the top will not stay closed because the lip to hold the top is plastic and it also slips out to open. I finally used two pieces of duck tape to make the lip thicker and the lid did not slip.

Keeps flipping open!

I had these for a few days and the lids don’t catch properly. I have two and they both do it. I’ll close it and it stays closed for a minute or two and then flips open. Does not catch. I can’t be bothered to bring them all the way back to the store again and doubt I have the receipt anyways so I weigh them down after their closed. spring popped off so lid won't stay on

I brought my garbage can a while ago and I only had it for a month! I liked it until spring popped off and the lid wouldn't stay closed .I really don't want to rate this item because I should have contacted Rubbermaid with my issue but i just tossed the can out and purchased something else! Anyway just wanted to let the company know what happen !! thankyou

BEWARE - broken & non-functional after short time.

This trash can worked great until the plastic ring that secures the opening mechanism to the lid broke. Now it doesn't open when you step on it. Very disappointed as I paid more for this model thinking it would be better quality. BEWARE - AVOID THIS MODEL!!!

I LOVED THIS TRASH CAN UNTIL ...

after 4 months the spring lock lid won't open. I wish I would have read all the reviews first as apparently this seems to be a common theme.

The latch broke and I can't find a replacement lid online. Do they sell them separately in stores?

The spring to open the lid broke and I can't find any replacement, doesn't make sense to me to replace the whole can!!

Lid "lock" broken

The locking piece broke after a while. Cracked apart. Looking to buy a new lid but can't find only a lid, will have to replace the whole thing.

Spring top lid broken after 3 months

The spring top feature is a good idea but our lid cracked after a few months use. We expected better quality from a Rubbermaid product, especially at this price!

Terrible product

After about 3 weeks of use, one of the springs just broke and now my lid won't open. I expected a better product by the Rubbermaid brand.

Latch sucks

The lid on this darn thing will absolutely not stay, so frustrated, can't return I took the stickers off. If the lid stayed down it would be perfect

Terrible lid

I bought this garbage can a few months ago and the lid won't stay closed. I couldn't return it because I lost my receipt and am now stuck with this terrible garbage can. I am very disappointed in this product.
