Easy breezy

Easy setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ring 8 piece Alarm Kit Generation 2 looks are cosmetically appealing. The keypad is sized well and easy to read. This system has the option for monitored or un=monitored alerts. . Monitoring costs thru Ring are considerably less than most home security companies on the Market. Super easy setup. Perfect for my two bedroom Condo. Great addition to protect your property at minimal cost.

Very good product

Instructions given by Ring could have been a bit better to get up and going quicker. Otherwise works as advertised. sensors are easy to install and motion detector is very responsive. You can add sensors from other brands however they will not trigger an alarm, only a open and closing door chime.

Check your items before you leave

Product is great other than it was obviously returned and put back on the shelf. The adhesive on the back of the sensors had Sheetrock attached to it. My sensors and motion detectors will not stick.

Ring Alarm w. Retrofit Alarm Kit

I am very pleased with the Ring alarm. I added the Ring alarm Retrofit kit so that I can use my wired motion, window/door contacts and smoke/CO2 sensors. Everything was very easy to setup. You just have to take yourself notes when you go to wire over your alarm. The Ring keypad works great and has good functionality.

Simple

Easy to install. Simple instructions. I was also able to add a camera very easily.

Flood monitor not included.

Product was fine except that the website stated it came with the flood monitor (which is what I really wanted). It did not. At least Lowe's return policy is far superior to Best Buy

Decent product, esp if using all ring products

It was fairly easy to set up the hub but I had hoped that it would connect a little easier with my other smart products than it did (as it seemed to boast). I bought this as a replacement for my Wink hub, that ultimately failed me, but Ring is a little more limited on what it will allow me to do, such as unable to set my Leviton porch light to turn on and off on schedule.
