What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally easy to use and effective for small concrete and masonry repair jobs. Many found the convenience of mixing the mortar directly in the bag to be beneficial, and the small amount provided was well-suited for their needs. The mortar was reported to set up quickly and provide a strong, durable repair. However, some customers noted issues with the mortar drying out or setting up too fast in the bag, and a few needed to add extra water to achieve the right consistency. Overall, the product works well for simple, localized repairs, though customers may need to experiment with the water content and mixing process.

Would RecommendThe only negative about this product is its expensive. Used it to repair a corner pop on my foundation. Worked great. This is something you want to repair and be done with it regardless of price. This product did exactly what it was supposed to do.

Very Hard to Work With but I would still recommend
Would RecommendIt was necessary to fill an area in the house where a short wall was removed which left a spot about 4 feet long and 4 inches wide and the thickness of a floor tile. The product required considerable more water then the instructions indicated and even more water was required to work the product into the area that was to be filled to a level of the surrounding tile. Although a washing machine was to be located over the filled area, my sense of correctness required that the area be finished in a...

Just by a 10lb bag and a bucket
1.25 cups of water wasn’t enough to mix to a good consistency. Bag leaked as soon as I started kneading it. Went back and bought a 10lb bag of quikcrete and mixed it in a 5 gallon bucket and had much better results at half the price.

Works for small projects, bag awkward to use
Would RecommendUsed this to patch a hole in a cinderblock foundation. Started out fine, but as got to the end of the product it was more difficult to get out of the bag and after reaching into the bag elbow deep (above my work gloves) I ended up getting the product on my skin and breaking out in hives...so my advice is to wear long gloves (up to your elbows) if you are going to need every bit of the product and have to reach all the way into the bag. Or simply mix in a bucket instead.

QUIKRETE Zip
Would RecommendI used it to rebuild a section of my window sill which had been knocked off. I added a bit of water and mixed it into putty and gobbed it on the sill. Used some cardboard to define the borders of the fill. It worked much easier than I had expected. I would use it again, and highly recommend it to anyone for such purposes...
