What Customers Are Saying
The cement color mix product is generally effective at coloring concrete, mortar, and other cement-based materials. Many customers reported achieving their desired color, such as a rich terracotta or charcoal shade. The product was praised for its ease of use, as it can be mixed into the cement or water before application. However, some customers noted inconsistent or fading color, and difficulty in achieving the exact desired shade, especially for smaller projects. The liquid format was also found to be messy and hard to measure accurately, with some suggesting the powdered version may be easier to work with. Overall, the product is a useful tool for customizing the appearance of DIY concrete and masonry projects, but may require some experimentation to get the right color and coverage.

Would RecommendWe have used quite a bit of this paint but we were only able to mix one bag of quickcrete at a time. So, the bottle holds enough paint to do 2 bags. We would measure out 5 oz which is half. The problem is the bottle doesn't contain exactly 10 ounces as stated on the bottle. It appears some of the paint settles in the bottom pretty bad. Even after shaking quite a bit, there is paint left in the bottom of the bottle. This is the only issue we found. The color looks good, and it mixes well in the b...
Perfect color to match.
Would RecommendThis provided a perfect color match to my existing pavers. The pavers and concrete match. All my friends love the color and the way it blends in with my existing pavers.

Shake before use
Would RecommendWorks just fine, however my carefully measured batches came out different colors. You must shake before use to suspend the solids to get even color. Gah!
No surprises.

Mix solution before adding to cement
I used Quickwall white and the brown coloring and applied it to cement board for an outdoor grill. I mixed it in three different batches by hand. The Quickwall product adhered well to the cement board. I suggest premixing the water and coloring in a closed top container and shaking it to assure homogeneity before adding to the concrete. I would add some solution and then mix with a trowel. Then add more dry Quickwall and solution and mix it all together. In the second batch I forgot to mix...
Cement color
This worked fairly well. I mixed as directed, but finished cement project was not what I expected. While cement was wet, it looked good. When dry cement was lighter than expected.
Doesn't Work
Would Not RecommendDon't waste your time with this stuff it's garbage. All of our stones have lost their color within days. It was mixed exactly as directed. I called the company and the response was it sounds like the paint was outdated. This is NOT acceptable considering the time and money I have put into our patio. The ones to the far right were the first ones we did. The ones to the left are how they start after mixing the paint. I want my money back. I'm going to have to paint over the stones wit...
Looks Pink!
Would Not RecommendWe used the Brown colorant and mixed at 1/2 a bottle per 80 lb bag as directed. When it dried it the color is a light brown with a pink hue rather than the darker brown shown on the bottle. I read in reviews on other sites that you need to mix a full bottle per 80 lb bag... we have tried that yet.

Multicolored path using Liquid Cement Color
Would RecommendI used Buff and Terra Cotta color to pour small batches of concrete. I split 60# bags in two, added half a can of color to a quart bottle (2/3rd full of water) and poured into the half bag of concrete in my small motorized mixer. I realized soon that the mixer needs to be cleaned before pouring the next color. I poured uncolored, naturally grey concrete first, cleaned, the mixed buff, and last Terra Cotta. I used a large tub to partition the colors, and moved it on a dolly over to my workspace. ...

Gave Life to Old Patio with Surface Cover
Would RecommendBought this a while back with the surface covering (skim-coat type cement). Followed all instructions - added this to mix as well as bonding agent and applied the correct etching-type chemical to the original concrete we were covering. Whereas some others experienced deterioration of their work, ours has lasted 5 YEARS and still looks great! It's a job you can't rush or cut corners on. DO the etching, DO the proper prep, ADD the bonding agent, DON'T cheap-out. It's worth it! Great results.

Great Product!
Would RecommendWe needed to repair some Saltillo tile and couldn't find much to work with. We came across this product and found it worked beautifully in repairing the Terracotta colored tiles. We bought the Terracotta color. Mixed up very nicely. We didn't have to use much at all. Highly recommended.
