What Customers Are Saying
The cement color mix product is generally effective at coloring concrete, mortar, and other cement-based materials. Many customers reported achieving their desired color, such as a rich terracotta or charcoal shade. The product was praised for its ease of use, as it can be mixed into the cement or water before application. However, some customers noted inconsistent or fading color, and difficulty in achieving the exact desired shade, especially for smaller projects. The liquid format was also found to be messy and hard to measure accurately, with some suggesting the powdered version may be easier to work with. Overall, the product is a useful tool for customizing the appearance of DIY concrete and masonry projects, but may require some experimentation to get the right color and coverage.

Would RecommendWe had made a two high landscape block, Item # 76907, around a post with a bird feeder mounted. Some of the seed was falling inside the round and growing. We decided to add concrete, but wanted it to match the blocks. This mixed easy with the concrete and we did try adding more color for a match. It came out a little lighter and we probably should have added 2 bottles of color to 3 bags of concrete for a closer color match. When mixing it looks darker wet and lightens when it dries. But, all in ...

Great product.
Would RecommendVery happy with results. I used about 1/3 container per 80# bag of concrete to give a little color. Careful measurement of quantity used per mix will yield consistent results.

Darkens good
Would RecommendI didn’t want a white looking concrete for my project. I use this one bottle on three 80 pound bags. If you use the whole bottle on one bag, if the concrete is going to be very black. If you use this bottle on two bags it’s going to be a charcoal color. If you use this whole bottle with three bags it darkens the concrete enough to not look like brand new concrete

Looks great, doesn't dry well

Works as instructed but lot of color sticks to bottom of container and need to rinse out to not leave a lot of dye in the bottle. Prefer powder as you can spread after finishing concrete much easier and cheaper if have a larger project but quickrete doesn’t make powder.
