What Customers Are Saying
The cement color mix product is generally effective at coloring concrete, mortar, and other cement-based materials. Many customers reported achieving their desired color, such as a rich terracotta or charcoal shade. The product was praised for its ease of use, as it can simply be mixed into the cement or water before application. However, some customers noted that the color can be inconsistent or fade over time, and that it can be tricky to get the right amount mixed in. Overall, the product seems to work well for small projects, but may require some experimentation to get the right color and coverage for larger jobs.

It works great, it was hard for me to get the shade of color I needed. It was probably the way I was doing it.

Nice Terracotta colour.
Would RecommendI use approximately one bottle for every 120 pounds of concrete and it looks beautiful.

QUICKRETE Charcoal Cement Color Mix
Would RecommendColors the concrete nicely, and darker than what I was expecting. Follow the easy directions for a nice consistent finish. Had custom concrete pavers outside for a while now, and so far, no fading! Huge plus! Will be creating a new paver path next year, and will definitely use this product again. Wife and I are happy with the results!

Liquid Quikrete
Would RecommendExcellent product for putting color in cement for stairway in back yard

It worked
Would RecommendIt is a little messy, and actually requires quite a bit to sufficiently color a 80lb bag of Quikrete. Otherwise, it was easy to work with. And didn't stain any skin or clothing it came in contact with.

Don’t use very much
Would RecommendIt doesn’t take much of this to work. I used about half a bottle for 60 lbs of mortar.

Much brighter than expected
I bought it to tint some mortar grout, I expected a brick color but it was a quite brighter red. Maybe less color would have been sufficient. It tints very effectively though.

Skeptical at first, turned out great
Tried this with the quickcrete cement repair, difficult to match the color of our existing stamped concrete, especially because it looks a lot darker when wet, but turned out pretty nice and we are happy with the results.
Informative.
Would RecommendWorks very well. Difficult to match color for each batch of concrete made.
Colors colors everywhere
Would RecommendApparently this powder should come with a warning detailing how colorful it is, I now own clothes that I affectionately refer to as my “Buff” clothes after an unfortunate spill while using the product.

I find the powdered dye much easier to work with and stores indefinitely, unfortunately they do not stock it in the store. That said this does work and I will use it till I can order the powdered dye.

Quikrete Liquid Color
Would RecommendThis product worked well for me. However, each batch of Quikcrete that I mixes seemed to dry a slightly different color. This was probably due to the amount of water added to each bag however i used approximately the same amount for each bag of concrete mix. This was my first time using both products so could be a learning curve. Overall I’m satisfied with how the project turned out.
