What Customers Are Saying
The Quikrete Acrylic Concrete Sealer provides good coverage and protection for concrete surfaces when applied properly. Many users found it easy to apply and reported it dried quickly and lasted for several years. However, some experienced issues with uneven drying, clogged sprayers, or an unacceptable appearance. The sealer may not stand up well to solvents or fuel. Overall, the product seems best suited for sealing new or freshly poured concrete, as well as protecting patios, walkways, and other concrete surfaces, but users need to be cautious to avoid over-application.

Would RecommendI have used this product over the years and find it very easy to apply . Make sure that your surface is clean and dry . I apply it with a 9" roller for a nice even finish.

This stuff is great! saves you from having to water down the concrete for a week straight. Just pour your concrete, spray with this and it's cured! the picture I added only shows after curing stage so when I spray it again as a sealer it will leave a gloss shine

Would Recommenddid exactly as it was supposed to do. sealed our stone work and concrete , it looks really good on our work and preserved it beautifully
Check for fresh batch
Would Not RecommendBought from Lowes . Had Chunks in it bad. No way you could spray it. Called Quickrete 800-776-6091 they said Take it back for refund. Should not do that, no kidding. Good decision . I say open it at store before you drive home and have to turn around to go back.

Very poor. Seperates with clumps.
Would Not RecommendTried using this to seal a new slab that I poured. Tried spraying it on and clogged two commercial sprayers. Considered rolling it however I'm not sure how well it will work considering the ingredients have separated. Very disappointed in this one.
Good value and results
Would RecommendSealed a new sidewalk installed ~ 3weeks ago. ~ 175 sg ft. I washed sidewalk the night prior with TSP and water. Rinsed thoroughly. Blew off any debrie prior to starting sealing. I used a roller and did 2 coats and still had 1/2 gallon left. Key per other reviews is to not allow the material to puddle. I would recommends to apply it thinly and if needed, additional coat. If you can see the off white color in an area, it needs to be spread out additionally. I did shake the material thoroughly and...
Sealed my basement. No smell. Remember to wear gloves Time will tell how it holds up.
BEWARE of old product with goop in the bottom
Would Not RecommendJust bought five gallons of this product, eager to seal a new driveway. Am using a Smith Professional 2 gallon Contractor Series sprayer (manual pump) with a wide dispersion nozzle (from Lowe's). After 10 seconds of spraying, the sprayer stopped dispensing product. Rather than the sprayer malfunctioning, after releasing the pressure, I removed the uptake assembly and found the suction hose clogged with gummmy white residue! I checked the instructions - nothing about shaking the product prior to ...
do not use this stuff if you park in your driveway
Would Not RecommendAt first I thought this was great - gave a nice finish to the new concrete driveway and sidewalk. Brand new driveway, so I wanted to protect against stains and dirt. After waiting several days to let the sealer dry, I parked the car on the driveway. Several hours later, moved the car, and black tread marks left at each tire. Months later, I am still getting black treadmarks embedded in the surface every time a car parks. It looks terrible now - so much for protecting the new concrete. The tread ...
Cure and Seal of my concrete pad
Would RecommendI had a 12' x 22' concrete pad poured for a 10' x 20' shed I am having put up. I was looking on line for a Cure and Seal product and a place to purchase it. I found the Quikrete Cure and Seal and learned that it was sold at Lowe's. I bought 2 gallons of it since the direction noted that 1 gallon covers 150 to 200 sqft. I did not use a sprayer. I rolled it on. The mason told me that I should roll it on which I did and it rolled on nicely. The direction told not to leave and puddles which I made s...
quikrete acrylic concrete sealer
Would Not RecommendI used in a new 1200 foot garage/barn. Went on easy. I rolled it on. There are clumps. It DOES NOT stand up to any solvent or fuel. Oil if not wiped up immediately and washed will also eat through it. If you are considering, please think again if you will be doing any mechanical work. I'll be talking to the concrete folks on what to use next time and to fix this. Our old house was sealed by the concrete finisher, and in 15 years never had any of the problems listed above.
Goes farther than it says
Would Recommendused pump sprayer, (must be strained thru cloth) wet concrete completly, one coat aprox.300 sq. ft. per gallon
Amazingly, a first-rate product
Would RecommendI reviewed alternative products for sealing my stamped concrete driveway over the internet and at several retail and wholesale outlets in my area before chosing the acrylic sealer manufactured by Quikrete. The mostly favorable reviews of this particular product were a deciding factor, along with the price and its availability locally. I was not disappointed. It applied easily with my garden sprayer and coverage was great. I did find that filtering it before putting it in the sprayer was necessar...
