What Customers Are Saying
The Quikrete Acrylic Concrete Sealer provides good coverage and protection for concrete surfaces when applied properly. Many users found it easy to apply and reported it dried quickly and lasted for several years. However, some experienced issues with uneven drying, clogged sprayers, or an unacceptable appearance. The sealer may not stand up well to solvents or fuel. Overall, the product seems best suited for sealing new or freshly poured concrete, as well as protecting patios, walkways, and other concrete surfaces, but users need to be cautious to avoid over-application.

The product arrived ahead of schedule and was applied to a 1600 sq-ft slab. The coverage was 200 sq-ft per gallon. A fan nozzle with a flat spray works best. The round nozzles tend to plug up with the coating. Two people applying the product provides better coverage. We marked out a 200 sq-ft area with string lines and One person sprays across the 200 sq-ft area and the other sprays perpendicular to the first coat. Took us about three hours. QUIKRETE Acrylic Cure & Seal works great!
Would RecommendQUIKRETE Acrylic Cure & Seal worked great and instructions were easy to follow. Used 2 gal sprayer with fan tip. Ran Quikrete through auto paint filter to make sure it wouldn't clog. PERFECT!
Good product
Would Recommendeasy to apply, dries quickly. I applied to curing concrete with sprayer as instructed, but had better coverage than implied in the instructions.
Terrible Product
Would Not RecommendI applied to a new driveway to prevent spalling/peeling. My driveway turned into a crumbling mess over the first winter after applying. I used a roller. I eventually had to replace my driveway and had the contractor seal it. After 3 years it is still in great shape. When I explained to the contractor that I used this product he was good about not knocking Quikrete but advised me to never use it again.
Over Priced Lie
Would Not RecommendAccording to the bottle I needed 2 to cover my driveway, I needed 7. At 25 dollars a pop, nearly 200 dollars to cover what the bottles claims should only take 2. Buy a different product.
Easy to work with, great for sealing planters
Would RecommendI use the cure and seal to apply to my small concrete projects (I don't like to wait 30 days to start using my little planters). This stuff dries quickly, and the surface can be covered after 24 hours drying time. So my pots are ready to go within a few days of making them! I also like the finished look. Attached photos are before and after the cure and seal treatment on a little planter.
Protecting a 58 year old garage floor.
Would RecommendI start preparing the dry concrete by lightly sweeping and collecting debris and dirt. I don't sweep it too hard or use a garden hose, because it just erodes away more concrete dust. I used a shop vac to pick up the remaining dirt or concrete powder. After shaking the container, I poured out some puddles in a 20 square foot area at a time and spread out the liquid using a one foot wide stiff brush with a long handle, making sure to work it into the areas of heavy spalling. Small puddles that...

Easy application
Would RecommendEasy to apply with just a garden sprayer. Goes on even and dried fast, within 4 hours but gave it 24 hours to cure. Used 5 gallons for a 6,000 sqft covered patio. Will see how long one coat lasts.
Very gloss finish, and it protects.
Would RecommendI did not go by the recommendation thickness, I applied it with a roller, and to a thickness that seemed reasonable, like a heavy coat of paint. Applied second coat next day, and it turned out great.

Great Concrete Cure and Seal.
Would RecommendThis worked great on week old patio and walkway. No yellowing, dried within a few hours with a slight matt sheen. Looks great. A low price at Lowe’s.
