Would Not RecommendWe purchased this brand because its like $25 less than the Whirlpool name brand filter but I will never purchase this one again. The reason is because of the bad water taste. All I have to say is purchase it and taste the water. Even the company that makes this filter has to admit it has an odd taste. So I recommend spending the extra money and purchasing the Whirlpool name brand water filter.

Would RecommendI had to ask a friend for help installing a filter in my other fridge. Right before he got here, I realized I might also have problems getting this one in. I ran out to Lowe’s shortly before closing and was able to get this filter. It fit perfectly and didn’t need the help like on the other! It works as well as the brand name filter. For my fridge, installation was literally a snap!
