Would Not RecommendThis Project Source filter listed our whirlpool model number but did not fit well and was hard to install, unlike the previous filter we had used, which popped right in as designed. This one also did not filter correctly since, when we had it installed in place, left the water with an odd taste. We have gone back to the other filters (more expensive, but definitely worth it.)

Would Not RecommendReplaced the filter and the water tasted horrible. It had a heavy plastic taste and an acrid, almost oil like taste. I've ran multiple gallons of water through it and the taste did not go away. I'm guessing I simply got a bad filter, but will not be buying this brand again.
