Would Not RecommendI highly do not recommend this project source water filter for your refrigerator to anybod missing a tab that was not put on to help load the filter or eject it from the time I put it in tasted chlorine and only lasted a month had to be spend the little extra money put the good one in big difference
OK fit but funny taste
Would Not RecommendFilter fits my Whirlpool fridge OK. Unfortunately, even after recommended initial flushing the water has a slightly off taste. Water coming from my stock filter had a nice clean taste so I know the source is NOT the internal water supply. This taste change was with the same household city water utility which had no recent changes. Probably will go back to OEM filters despite the stupid higher cost.

Would Not RecommendWe purchased this brand because its like $25 less than the Whirlpool name brand filter but I will never purchase this one again. The reason is because of the bad water taste. All I have to say is purchase it and taste the water. Even the company that makes this filter has to admit it has an odd taste. So I recommend spending the extra money and purchasing the Whirlpool name brand water filter.
