Works as expected

The water filter was a bit challenging to get in however, it was a direct replacement and I actually think it tastes a little bit better than the factory Samsung filter. I recommend having a pair of pliers handy as it was very difficult to turn by hand.

I love this product. It is easy to use. It has clear easy to follow instructions. It works great to help you get a delicious tasting water. It has simple packaging which is better for the environment. I would recommend this product to everyone.

Water Filter for Samsung Refrig

Was a little hard to get it in to its place. Had to use a little force to get it to go in. Little water leaked out as I was doing that. It went it. Seems to be in nice and snug. I didn't see any leaking after putting it in. We don't have a drink dispenser so can't test the water till the ice is made.

Good American-made filter!

When I needed to replace the filter in my Samsung refrigerator I was happy to find an American-made alternative filter. I'm a strong advocate of buying American whenever possible or affordable, and this turned out to cost less than a Samsung filter. The fit is perfect, there were no leaks, no taste or flow difference. Economical and easy to install filter

I really like this filter, very easy to install. Just remember to take off the cap, soak the filter in water for 30 to 45 minutes, take out the old filter with counterclockwise turn and install the new one with clockwise turn. Finger design on new filter makes it very easy to turn. Now you’re set for six more months of clean, great tasting water.

Good fitment, carbon deposits linger

Direct fit replacement for original Samsung filter. Initial cartridge flush released a bunch of carbon (more than anticipated). Carbon residue deposits continued a week after changing.

It leaked

I wasn’t sure at first If this filter would be compatible with my Samsung refrigerator but it is actually a perfect fit. Upon installing the filter, it sprayed out a little and I didn’t think it was a big deal. No problems with leakage

I read several reviews on the filter and it was mentioned that people had problems with leaking. This may have been an earlier model because I installed the Project Source filter and there hasn’t been any leakage at all. Basic refrigerator filter replacement.

Filter appears to work. No issues on performance. The wording is printed on the actual plastic that covers the filter, so if one removes the plastic surrounding the filter, all labeling (filter number, etc) would be lost. All the other replacement filters I've purchased before, including OEM are stickers attached to the filter.

Great taste!

We do not drink water directly from the faucet, because it taste horrible. When I installed this filter into my refrigerator, the water tastes clean, crisp and refreshing. This is a cheaper alternative to the name brand filter and works the same as the name brand.

Great filter

The filter was a replacement for my French door refrigerator. It was simple to install, as long as you take the cap off! It was as easy as taking the old one out and putting the new one in and rotate it to lock it in.

This is as simple as taking the old filter out and putting in the new one in! New filder went itp a Samsung frend door refrigerator. Do not forget to take the cap off! I had one hell of a time trying to figure out why it was not fitting in correctly! Once the cap is off, push it in, rotare the filter and its done. Super easy!

Easy and fits perfectly

Installation of this filter is as easy as can be. The hardest part is waiting the thrity to forty minutes of it soaking as per the instructions to clear out the filter before use. Fits perfectly but the handle to twist it in is different than the OEM filter from Samsung. That would be the only change I would make to it.

This new filter is only slightly different than the one that it replaces in my Samsung fridge. The finger-grip feature is ribbed on the new one vs. a continuous piece on the old. The filter is easily accessed on my Samsung fridge, right between the crisper drawers as shown in my photo. To remove the old filter you simply turn it counterclockwise and pull it out. Great. Love the 6-month life on it. Easy install as well. Push and twist to get it set up. I found it hepful to soak it in a pitcher of water for a few hours first to help pull the loose filter material out.
