Great filter

This filter is a perfect fit for our Samsung refrigerator. The filter was an easy replacement. Just a simple twist and it goes right in. Keeps the water filtered with no aftertaste.

Refrig water filter it was a perfect match as orginal Samsung filter, same size, connection, was an exact fit and was easy to change, no issue's with installation, increased water flow immediately

Works exactly the same

The water filter is the correct size for my refrigerator. There was significant pressure that i had to use a pair of pliers to turn it as i pushed it in. But it fit.

Perfect Fit, Great Filtration

It seems just as good at filter as big brand. It fits perfectly as an OEM(recommended brand), and I’ve tested the water for particle count, and the result is the same. I would recommend.

Works Like A Charm except

I was apprehensive using an off brand. The instructions were clear (except understanding to replace a filter pressure must be released). It took a little more effort than expected to replace filter. Once in, the new filter worked fine and has continued to work fine this past week. At the lesser cost than the original filter- this one will be considered next time filtered changed.

awful fit and doesn't last long

please note MOST of the 5 star reviews are NO COMMENT, not one word. these filters are awful to remove and install. advise remove all food in drawer below filter and have towels ready, it WILL leak during installation. the arrow does not line up in unlock position. very difficult to line up and turn to the locked position. had to use a long wrench for leverage. I will not buy Project source product again.

These filters leak

These filters look exactly like my original filter and are supposed to be the proper ones but they leak. I put the factory filter back in and it does not leak.

Don't follow the instructions

The instructions state to soak the filter for 45 min in water. I did that, then because the filter is full, I could not push the filter into place! Disgusting!!!!!!!!

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing these filters, both of the filters leaked terribly and filled the bottom of the fridge with water, they were recommended by the sales associate as being a viable substitue, but something is wrong with the fitment. Went back to a genuine Samsung filter, more expensive but cheaper in the long run and they do not leak.

It's good something works like it is suppose to

It did not have any instructions to install. I was not sure which way I should install it. So far it has not leaked and I have not had a problem.

Good Replacement, should be easy to install.

I haven't installed as yet. Need help getting to water shut-off. Note to Samsung; install water shut-off inside the refrigerator compartment. Not everyone can pull the refrigerator away from the wall.

Not a good filter

The water has a very bitter taste even after running about 3 gallons through the filter. I was told by a younger Lowe's associate that this was as good as the Samsung filters, she has no clue. Don't waste your money as these filters are terrible.
