A good replacement filter at a good price

Good replacement filter. Installed it in my Samsung refrigerator a couple of months ago, and haven't had any problems with it. It was easy to install, no leaking, and the water tastes great.

Terrible time installing

When I went into Lowe's to buy the Samsung water filter I asked a salesperson who happened to be standing directly in front of the fridge I purchased last late Spring. He pointed to a display. I grabbed one label Samsung as it looked like the one I had researched. He said, "no" and annoyingly took me to the display and grabbed one I had not even seen during my research. A fine water filter.

This is a fine replacement product. Once installed it works fine as if it's an OEM product. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the first time I installed it It didn't seat properly and filled my crisper drawer with water. I reinstalled it and it has not leaked since.

Water Filter dependable and recommended!

The Refrigerator Water Filter S-4 worked as expected. The functionality appears to be dependable, as I've been using it for 6 weeks thus far and the price point is lower than the manufacturer's filter. I recommend use of this Water Filter.

Quality Direct Replacement of the Original Filter

It was time to replace the water filter in my Samsung refrigerator so I decided to try the Project Source brand replacement filter. As evidenced by the photos this is an exact replacement of the Samsung brand filter with the exception of the tightening knob at the base of the filter. Provides tasty water

I used the Project Source in my refrigerator unfortunately it is much more difficult to install compared to the other brand. There is a slight difference when pushing it in and harder to lock in place. It took me 4 tries to properly install it. The water itself has no chemical or a lead taste which is good. The water is clear in color and no odors. Filter last 6 months depending on how much water you use. We use refillable travel mugs so for our household we need to replace sooner. Over all not ...

Affordable replacement filter

Easy install, and appears comparable in quality to the OEM filter. It was well packaged and the gasket was supple and intact. It cleared the air inside easily, and no discernable difference in the taste of the water.

Great water filter

Not much to say - these work! They filter the water and add a clean and crisp taste to the water that comes from my city, which always had an off taste to me, and now it is gone. They are priced right and I like that they come in a two pack. Easy to install and they don't leak.

Project Source Refrigerator Water Filter

This Project Source Refrigerator Water Filter installed easily, had to use pliers on my old filters to get them in and out but not this one so thats great. Works great too. Easy instructions and had a colander sticker so you know when you installed it.

The filter fit fine

The filter fit fine, unfortunately we lost the fridge to lightning strike in the last storm, so I can't speak to the longevity of the filter, the water quality seemed acceptable.

Did not fit

Did not fit my refrigerator in spite of it saying it would. I was unable to use this product because it did not fit my refrigerator. The ones I have been using that do fit are the same model and I have no problem with them. This one is different on the lower corners that prevent it from going in all the way. Saves money

Project source is always my go-to with pretty much everything at lowes. This twist in filter works great in my samsung fridge and saves me so much money since i'm not having to buy bottled water. These filters last 6 months and are very easy to change.

Works

Direct fit for the OEM filter. I did have slightly more trouble putting the filter in over the companion brand for my refrigerator. According to the label. This brand has .1gpm over the name brand but amount of use is the same.

Skeptical at first but performs great

Hard to describe much about a water filter but this will keep up with the expensive filters. I had doubts at first how much it would filter but it keeps up great. Very important having our water filtered and this filter did just fine

Good filter hard to twist in place

We have a Samsung refrigerator. Every 6 months I have to replace the water filter. This filter fit perfectly. I followed the instructions and even put it in a sink full of water for 20 minutes. I unscrewed the old filter and put the new one in. I had a hard time twisting it into a Locke position. I am 78 and my hands are not good. Had to use a wrench to get a better grip. It doesn’t leak and works great. Make sure you have a big pare of pliers unless you are a youngster

DID NOT FIT!

This filter did not fit, so had to return, and Lowe's did not have the Samsung filter I needed. Thankfully, ordered from Lowe's and will get in 2 days.

Perfect Fit!

I was hesitant, as I had only used the filters manufactured by Samsung previously, but this installed and fit just like the one created by my refrigerator manufacturer. I will be purchasing more of these in the future!

Refrigerator Water Filter Cartridge

I installed the filter in my Samsung French door refrigerator. I turned off the water supply to the refrigerator and removed the old filter cartridge I then installed the new filter cartridge Making sure it was installed correctly. Then I turned on the water supply and checked for leaks. There was a slight leak around the filter cartridge. I turned off the water supply and removed the filter cartridge from the refrigerator.
