M-2 Filter is great.

Nice filter that replaces the one in our Whirlpool fridge. Easy to replace by untwisting the old one and twisting this one on. Flushed water through it initially as directed in the instructions. Water tastes great. Clean and refreshing. I liked that it had no leaks. Perfect fit.

Refrigerator filter

I was happy to find a water filter that fit my refrigerator. Lowes offers a lowes brand, called project source, for a little less than the manufacturer brand. Easy to order online and have ready for when the refrigerator symbol says it’s time to change the filter again! Snaps right in with a half turn click.

Replacement water filter

Perfect fit. Was not a factory unit. The only downside was the instructions to rinse the filter out before use. I did not find a good way to do this. After installation I had to run the water dispenser for a few minutes clear lines of what I think was carbon dust. Other than the problem with the dust, unit worked fine.

Refrigerator Water Filter

Received the Project Source refrigerator water filter, for my Kitchenaid Refrigerator. Installation simple and straightforward as a OEM Filter. Remove the original filter and replace it with the Project Source filter. A simple installation and no leaks. Just dispense the recommended two gallons of water to clear any sediment and air bubbles in the line. The water is now clear and delicious as expected. Reset water filter monitor replacement light notification per owners manual. Good to go!

easy peasy just remember to drain

All you have to do is open end cap untwist old filter remove and replace with new one. The only problem is remembering the old one is full of water, so you may have to mop if you forget!

Great water filter.

This is great twist water filter and easy to install and got to replace filter every 6 months or 300 gallons , whichever precedes first , and this replacement filter cartridge is warranted from defect 1 year from manufacturing date .

A great versatile filter

I especially like that it is compatible with a number of brands, like Maytag & Kitchenaid; I was looking for the filter to be NSF Certified, performance is as expected!

It works just like the other brands

The flow increased quite a bit after installing the new filter. One thing that the instructions don't mention is to turn off the ice maker before starting the installation and purge procedure.

Great alternative to Whirlpool brand.

Seems to work just as well as the original Whirlpool filter we had. Clean water and ice. Packaging was nice and it included instructions and a calendar to use for when it is time to replace the filter.

Perfect fit

I always wonder about the fit of a water filter as some models seem vary slightly. This water filter fit perfectly and was packaged well. Not much to say except I will buy this as my replacement filter moving forward.

The filter is a perfect replacement. It is a little smaller in diameter, but works perfectly. The water is clean and clear that as passed through it. It will be my go to filter from now own.

Project Source refrigerator water filter

The project source refrigerator water filter is a direct replacement for the factory filter. It’s exactly the same size and shape with a handle on the end to tighten it down. Highly recommend this for saving versus factory replacement filter.

Great water filter.

This came just in time. Our replacement indicator light had just come on. It was very easy to install with just a little turn and click. The replacement date stamp is great, as well. Using a filter definitely makes a difference in the taste of the water. Would recommend this product.

Good replacement.

Easy to replace, and good firmest as other replacement filters. Initial flush released some carbon - as to be expected. Time will tell how the filter holds up. I will have to try to differentiate any changes in water taste within the recommended 6 month replacement window. Comes with a replacement calendar as a good visual cue to replace when the time comes. Adheres and removed easily to the inside of the fridge.

Easy install, water tastes great

There isn't too much to a water filter however this particular filter has a couple nice features which others typically do not. The end which faces you when installing has a protrusion for grasping when installing which makes it much easier to twist in place. That end also has arrows indicating "in" and "out". I was about to go reach for the instructions for this info as the filter has a very snug fit and I worry about breaking something by forcing it the wrong direction. The other nice bonu...

Great replacement water filter.

Water filter is perfect match for my fridge. This water filter takes about 30 seconds to install. Water tastes great and does not leak. Remember when removing old filter it will be full of water, so keep it upright to avoid and spills. Personally, I place the old filter upside down in the sink to drain before putting in the trash.
