Would RecommendIt was the only brand on the shelf, so I bought it. It worked and is working really well. It was easy to install. Over the deep recess on each side is where I put each tightening band. The product comes without instructions, without illustrations. It's easy to line up and install with just a flat blade screwdriver.

The hose clamp is not of good quality.
Would Not RecommendThe adjustable hose clamp is cheap quality. The threaded part will not hold tight when being tightened which creates a leak from the water pressure which make it not usable. It's too small. Buy a larger and better made hose clamp to use with the brass hose coupling. Lowe's should demand better quality hose clamps from the manufacturer for this type of hose mender repair kit.
