Easy replacement and great water from these filter

Lowe's makes it easy to find out which filter you need. Go into appliance section and there's a pop up for every brand of refrigerator. That's how I found this one. It was as easy as open the compartment, pull out the old and put in the new. We have hard water and a well so I prefer to get water from the fridge that has gone through a filter.

Fits and doesn't leak

I was a little skeptical about this because a previous non-OEM filter I tried leaked all over the place. This one however, fits my LG perfectly and has no leaks at all. The only thing different from the OEM filter is that the first full glass of water was really dark from the filter carbon. The OEM filters are usually slighty grey. This one was really dark. That leads me to believe the carbon is not as tightly compressed.

MY New Go To for LG Frig Water Filtration.

This is a perfect replacement for my LG French door frog unit purchased from Lowes.I wanted to find a potentially less expensive but just as equally effective at filtering the locally provided water source in my city. Easy peasy

I love the feeling that I can easily replace the filter. Gives me a piece of mind that I can have clean water. No hassle to pop in a new filter. Makes my maintenance to the house easy!!

Filter delivers good clear water.

When I opened the package I immediately noticed that there were directions included. It had been a while since I had last switched up the water filter in my fridge. They were very helpful and detailed, so it took no time to install. As per directions I drew 2.5 gal of water before drinking. Then the taste test, it was good clear water. Definitely found this filter to deliver well tasting water.

Great routine maintenance refrigerator water filte

Installed this water filter in my LG refrigerator. The water filter is replaced every 6 months and I waited till my filter was due to change it. Filter seems of good quality and should last till the next filter change without any reduced performance of the drinking water pressure from the refrigerator. Installation was very easy and took less than 2 minutes.

Cold Filtered Water

I received the Project Source 6 month refrigerator water filter. Installation was simple and straightforward. I removed the original filter and replaced it with the project Source filter. The fit was perfect. Simple installation and no leaks. I dispensed the recommended two gallons of water to clear any sediment and air bubbles in the line. The water is now clear and delicious. I would highly recommend this filter!

LG Refrigerator Water Filter

My experience with non-branded filters in the past has typically been acceptable. I have read reviews of filters not fitting, though I expect it’s more user error. This filter was simple to install, with no issues. I like that the filter was securely wrapped in vacuum-sealed plastic. Better Tasting Water

This filter performs very well. Depending on the type of water coming in to the house, this filter will normally last up to 6 months. It is an easy install and it seals without any leaks. I do have a whole house filtration system but I can say that the clarity of water is enhanced when I dispense water or ice from my refrigerator.

Great WaterFilter

Water filter fits my LG refrigerator just like a glove. It seems like you must twist to unlock the filter but all you do is pull out and push a new one back in and then push the filter up and close door.

Quality filtered water .

Great alternative to the name brand filter

Great alternative to the name branded filters. Quick and easy installation, took me less than one minute. Following the instructions, make sure you run about 2.5 gallons of water before using to clear out the loose material (see pictures). Water tastes as clean as it did!

Easy to install refrigerator water filter

I installed the 6-month push-in refrigerator water filter in our LG refrigerator. It is nearly identical to the OEM filter I removed and was easy to install. The water flow rate from the in-door dispenser seems to be normal and the water appears to be clean and clear.

Lowe's Water Filter

Been using these filters on my LG refrigerator for several years and I’ve had no problems with any of them. They’re supposed to filter the tap water making it more suitable and safer for consumption on a daily basis. It also filters the ice water that is built-in to my refrigerator. They’re relatively easy to install and in my case, I have to use a little force to make sure it is seated correctly. LGLT700P Refrigerator water filter.

I own a Kenmore refrigerator and was worried this LG water filter might not fit. I was totally wrong. The filter snapped right into place with no problem. As with most filters the water became clear after the 2nd purging. The water has been very clear as you can see from the photos plus the water has a very good taste to it. I am very happy with this filter and would recommend the LG water filter for any brand named refrigerator.

Clean and Clear Water

This water filter cartridge fits exactly like the original and after 2 weeks of use, the water tastes clean and is clear. There are no leaks. This cartridge is a little pricey.

Standard filter at a better price point

I consider this to be a standard filter. Nothing excellent about it, nor is anything wrong with it. Our water tastes the same as when I had the leading competitors filter in our fridge. Installation and packaging was also what I would consider to be standard. For a cheaper price than the leading competitor, I rate it four stars.

Too many different filters!

The filter doesn’t fit my LG refrigerator. Seems there are literally hundreds of different filters for each model offering. I don’t understand why there is no industry standard for refrigerator filters. At a minimum manufacturers should standardize for their brand.
