Water Filter Replacement

This water filter is a good replacement for the standard filter. Both last about 6 months and both seem to be similarly made. This water filter is also the right size and the tabs fit as securely as the standard filter with no leaks. Standard filters are expensive, so this filter is a real winner.

As good as OEM, more cost effective

The Project Source replacement water filter for my LG refrigerator is perfect. It’s a little more affordable than the factory OEM part. The size and fit were identical. Once replaced, as per instructions, run a few gallons of water through it and the cloudiness disappears as stated. I don’t see any reduction in water flow once the cartridge got ‘primed’ and cleared out. Typical. Can’t go wrong, really.

Nice filter that works well for less money

When we purchased our last refrigerator, we decided to get one with the built-in water dispenser and ice maker. Easy to install and no funny taste

Easy to install. Water does not have any noticeable taste or issue. This filter lasts a good six+ months for our family of five. Lots of huge water bottles for sports and to take to school.

Taste great

Exact replacement that is easy to install and you need no tools. Orings supplied with cartridge and no leaks. Run water thru cartridge for a minute to get air out of the line and cartridge.

I followed the instructions included with the filter and found it to be very simple and quick to install. You may find you will have to remove the shelf under the water filter to allow you to lower the old filter, it depends on what height you have that shelf set at. Easy way to Clean water! Odorless and clear.

I use this refrigerator filter in my LG refrigerator. The filter is easy to change, and I change it about every 6 months. The filtered water comes out odorless and free of most chemicals and particulate matter. Also my icemaker makes crystal clear ice that is also odorless.

Great drop-in replacement for my LG water filter

The Project Source water filter is a great drop-in replacement for my LG refrigerator. Installation was a breeze, just pop out the old filter and pop in the new one, then run about 2.5 gallons of water through the filter to flush the system. The entire process took less than 5 minutes. Good value compared to OEM

This filter fit perfectly in our LG LFX31925ST refrigerator, and it installed with no issues. We did notice that the body of this filter was slightly smaller than the brand that it replaced, but that made no difference in the installation process. Just as good as OEM

The filters look and fit just like the OEM filters from LG. The big difference is the price on the Lowe's brand versus the LG brand. I really cant tell any other difference between the OEM and Lowe's brand filter.

Use it in my Samsung refrigerator. It's a great way to filter the water and icemaker. A definite reccomend for this filter works just as well as the manufacturers

Fridge filter replacement

I used this to replace water filter already in refrigerator ! The filter is fairly easy to change out ! Open door to see filter and adjust downward and pull out old filter . Replacing new filter , just push in to seat and shut cover ! I do run a few glasses of water through it to clean any residue from manufacture!

Happy to have another choice at less cost

My family uses our ice maker and filtered water a lot, so we are glad to use a filter with the same quality as the brand name but at a lesser price. Love the crisp, clean taste. Just as easy to install as the brand name.

Perfect Replacement Water Filter for LG Refrig

This filter is an exact match for the original. It’s very easy to change. It seems to filter great and the water comes out crystal clear. My only complaint is that it seems like you have to purge for a long time.
