I have always replaced the filter at Sears but every time I went they were out of the one I needed and had to order it ............. since receiving the one from Lowes which fits I will now get my replacements from Lowes simply because Lowes has everything one needs

This product does EXACTLY what you want it to! Goes in easily, works flawlessly and with no further effort! Yes, my dog thought it was treats when i opened the package, but little does she know this perfectly filtered water will be in her bowl year-round. We all benefit from drinking filtered water. It can be easy to forget to swap these cannisters... don't forget!

Easy to install, exactly same as OEM

This is the exact same size as the OEM LG version and was just as easy to install. It was the exact same specs and once it was installed, I was able to reset my LG Refrigerator's Time to 6 months. It did not have any issue doing so. It's a great, cheaper alternative to the OEM LG version and does the exact same thing.

Maybe it was just me, but this filter is not good.

Lasted about 3 weeks, then the water just wasn't coming out. I called LG and they said I MUST use LG brands as it can void the warranty, so I went back to the LG filter and back in business. Maybe it was just my fridge, but it would not produce water for me

Nice filter

This filter was a exact fit in my LG fridge. I have had in the fridge for a few weeks now and it is still working great. A great replacement for the original LG filter. No issues.

The 6-month push in refrigerator water filter is great. It fits perfectly in my refrigerator. The water comes out clear and fresh. It tastes great. I would definitely recommend this filter to anyone who has a refrigerator that this filter fit into.

Perfect replacement water filter

I hadn't changed my water filter in my refrigerator in a long long time so I checked into this great replacement filter at Lowes. Water Filter Review

The water filter arrived well before the current filter needed changed. I removed the old filter and was able to install the new filter without any problems.

Great taste

Have been trying this out for a dew weeks now and i can definitely taste a better difference with this filter. Pops right in perfectly and with no leaks. My ice cubes are crystal clear and no funny taste whatsoever. I even believe my dog likes this new filter.

Great filter easy to install

Great filter. Direct replacement. Was easy to install. Especially liked the fact that it came with a sticker to denote the date of installation as well as the recommended time to replace it. Water tasted great after replacement. Would definitely recommend.

No more funny ice cube taste

Really clean taste in water. Tried this out for 2 weeks and i still prefer this brand over the cheaper amazon versions. Perfect fit and no leaks during installation. Ice cubes dont have funny taste or smell anymore

Quick replacement

The filter didn’t fit what I had intended it for but my repairman friend used it perfectly. Easy installation in the appliance he had intended it for.

Water tastes great, cheaper than OEM

This is an excellent alternative to OEM filters at a lower cost. Fits perfect, no leaks and no issues. Ran 2.5 gallons through the filter to rinse it, per the directions, and now the water tastes great! Includes a static cling sticker to tell when to change the filter. This is now my go-to filter.

COST vs. Contaminants

These filters are much more expensive then what you can buy elsewhere. If you look at what LG LT800P filters out of the water you can see why it costs so much more. I replaced a filter that cost around $10.00 that only removed or improved chlorine, taste and odor. The LG LT800P does this and a lot more (see pictures). Works well, fits and advertised up to 6 months.

Not to much to say except it does what its suppost to well. Easy instal, strait forward instructions and acording to the description it will last up to six months. We do not have hard or soft water, so we usually get about 75% of the advertised life from our water products.

Water Tastes Better

LG makes switching filters a breeze. Initially was concerned about gray colored water from the charcoal. But after reviewing the instructions and running three gallons of water through, the water now comes out clear and without bubbles. The biggest test is how it tastes. I poured a glass using the old filter before changing to compare and the water from this filter tastes better.
