Easy install. Simple mailbox post. No adaptor accessories needed. Id recommend it to anyone.

Solid

This post is easy to assemble and fits over a 4x4 post. It takes a little finesse to get the screws started through the plastic, but that’s the most difficult part.

Crossbar Needs A Brace

The stability of the crossbar that the mailbox mounts on is dependent on the fit between the outside dimensions of the crossbar and the inside dimensions of the cutout in the main post. The screws in the side of the post thru the crossbar are not for stability. I installed a white right angle support on the front of the post under the crossbar. Easy to assemble

I found this post very easy to assemble... I am 74 years old woman and had no problems.....I love the contemporary look of the post....I still have to add my box,,but you can see the difference between this post and my old one in the photo....would definitely buy again

Super easy, barely an inconvenience

Really easy to install. - 4x4 into the ground (in cement). - Mount mailbox of choice - Put on 4x4 BAM! done.

Would have been great but too short

I can't for the life of me understand why this mailbox post is NOT high enough to conform to US Postal Services standards for mailbox placement. You will either see 2-3 inches of your 4x4 treated post at the bottom or you have to modify the original design to cover up the bare post. All the company would have had to do is make this post 3" longer and it would have been perfect. This is going back.

Perfect

Super easy to install and looks great. wasn't sure what top it was going to come with, but the one in my photo was the only one in the box.

Easy to assemble

This post was very easy to assemble and attach the mailbox. No extra parts or attachments needed.

Washers needed

This needed to come with washers to prevent the bolts from falling through the holes. Very frustrating.

Flimsy and easy to rip the mailbox off of it.

The instructions say to leave 24" for the 4x4 above ground but that is not long enough unless the letter carriers is a child on a big wheel. Add at least 12" and the post (tube) that you mount the mail box on is so cheap my 80 year old mother could rip the box off of it. I trimmed down a 4 x 4 to fit in the tube and then used good heavy duty bolts to secure it. Now it is secure. The only positive thing is it looks nice.

Nice Product but lower post to short

Postal code requires you to have base of mailbox 41 inch's above road grade. If ground slopes away (toward ditch) as it does in about 80% of homes the post will be to short resulting in the bottom sitting up off off the ground exposing the pressure treated post. After market options are available to put a base skirt to cover but why should that be. If post was 3 - 6 inch's longer it would allow the installer to cut excess off or bury it. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!

We bought this post about six months ago. Very attractive. That’s all I can say on a positive note. The snow plow went by today and the plastic cracked to the extent that the whole thing fell apart. My husband is a perfectionist and had installed it precisely according to directions. The plow did not even come close to it. Not a single tire track near it. The plastic is simply CHEAP! $50 and lots of labor down the drain!

Wiggles

I don’t know how this mailbox post gets such high reviews. We installed everything without any issues but the provided brackets that attach the mailbox To the post are hardly sturdy enough. The mailbox is firmly attached but the brackets themselves are not rigid enough to keep the mailbox from wiggling. We’ll either be returning or modifying it. Don’t recommend this product. Shouldn’t have to choose between a wiggly mailbox or modifying a brand new product.

Good product

Easy to assemble, solid structure. Doesn’t exactly fit the mailbox we purchased with it. We had to shim a little, but overall a good product.

Good Mailbox Post

We got the polymer mailbox post for the mailbox that we bought before. Unfortunately it did not fit together the mailbox was way too big. The post was great. We ended up returning both items and getting an one piece mailbox and post together.

Easy to install as advertised, looks great.

This vinyl sleeve slipped right over our existing post (after our old mailbox got knocked off its nails by a vistitor with their car) and looks really nice. Lining up the mailbox was tricky because there aren't any pre-drilled holes, but that makes it more universal. Since we chose a larger mailbox, that worked out just fine.
