Side Burner

I bought this in 2022, with four gas controls: three under the lid and a 10,000 BTU right-side burner. Your description still says “four independent gas burners” but I can’t see the side burner — is it still there? Did it get replaced by hooks for the BBQ tongs? I’ll adjust my rating based on your answer.

If your on the fence Bout buying this, pull the trigger. I received in June for Father's day since my old grill pretty much had no bottom and my old Green Mountain smoker was becoming finicky. I love this combo, thr smoker is super efficient, I bought a 49lb bag of pit boss pellets and have cooked two racks of ribs (separately), a beef roast, a pork shoulder and two batches of jerky and I still have over a quarter left. I ordered my Pro combo from Lowes. The box was destroyed upon arrival, and when pointing that out I was told by one of the guys on the truck that ‘You can always just return it if something is damaged!’ (230 pounds) It had a missing lever and a few bends in the metal. I was able to bend it back very easily. I contacted Pit Boss and the part that had fallen out of my box somewhere in shipping was replaced in a couple days, wothout cost or questions. Assembled Wrong

I purchased an assembled unit, they reversed a key part at step 6 of the instructions which makes so the propane tank cannot be mounted. I needs to be disassembled almost completely to fix.

Can’t get the smoker to ignite

Horrible smoker. I have tried a dozen times and the smoker won’t light or won’t light properly. The smoker get to a max temp of 130 degrees then spits out an error code. Diff code each time.

False Advertising - Buyer Beware!

I purchased this grill 2 weeks ago, only it is not the unit I was led to believe I was purchasing. Much like another gentlemen above noted, a unit with a side-burner was on display. The day we bought this unit was a very busy day and when we got home we immediately started putting the new unit together. We finished just in time to start cooking for guests coming over. I got the Pit Boss Pro Series Gray Gas and Pellet Combo Grill for my son for his birthday and he put it together in about 2 1/2 hrs. He is 34 and very mechanically inclined. He was excited to use it. Well his excitement was quickly shot down. The igniter does not work. He had to ignite the fuel burners with a long style lighter.
