The girl in customer wasn’t very accommodating and

The bbq was missing an igniter, the heat probes and the drip can. When I went back to tell them they said it was a clearance item and more or less expect that. I ordered a boxed unit so it should have been complete . They called me and said they had one already assembled and if I wanted that. I agreed and that is what I think made it a clearance item.

Perfect smoker for a newbie!

Just finished my 3rd smoke. Everything is working perfectly so far. I’ve talked to customer service a couple times. They are very responsive and helpful.

Give 3 stars. Product is good the only thing I don’t like is the delivery guys they just leave the product on the driveway without ringing the doorbell to inform me. The product is heavy so I have to drag it inside the garage by myself. 👎

It seems like a great grill. I had Lowe’s deliver and assemble it. They said it was a new one in the back, but I think what I received is the floor model. It was dusty and was missing some components. Also the assemble was done wrong, the bottom plate tying the legs together was backward so the propane mount was on the pellet side. I had to turn it all around, so the assembly was irritating. I didn’t get any paperwork for assembly or what instructions either which I thought was weird. In regards...

pellet temp control way off

I've used the pellet side 4 times now. It worked great for shorter cooks where I wasn't too concerned about temperature control. Then I tried a pork shoulder. I had it set at 220F, but it was maintaining about 250F. The temp would even spike to almost 400F. Not exactly low-and-slow.

Got this for a birthday present. Built and set everything up. Went to turn on the smoker to do my burn in and to my dismay the ignitor error code popped. Did all the troubleshooting and bought a new ignitor still popping an error message. Really wish I bought a trader instead. Very disappointed in pitboss will never buy again.

Pit Boss Can't Do Temp Sensors

I'll join in with the inability of the smoker to maintain temperature. Tried to cook a brisket on our first smoke (yep, maybe should have gone with a pork shoulder or something less challenging) and the smoker could NOT maintain anything close to a consistent temp. It ran 20 to 30 degrees hot for the whole smoke. That might not be such an issue if the meat probe readings were accurate but they are anything but. Readings were wildly different from multiple known good instant read thermometer....

After 2nd delivery

My first Pitboss combo was not built as promised by someone who knew what they were doing! It was backwards and missing a few things. Also didn’t turn on, needless to say it was dented all o ver and came with spiders, cobwebs and dust which tells me it sat as a Demo for a DEI HIRE to look at and build again, wrong. The second one was perfect after I bitched and told them to take back the crap that was delivered prior.
