Lowe’s Service Was Miserable

Not a reflection of the Pit Boss, but Lowe’s service. This order was originally scheduled to be assembled and delivered to my home on 4/15. The morning of, I received an email that the delivery was rescheduled, after calling multiple times to find out why it was rescheduled, I was told it had not been assembled yet. Great smoker for beginners and experienced griller

I’ve been really impressed with this grill. It solved the problem of wanting a smoker that’s easy to use but still produces great flavor. Assembly was straightforward and the build quality feels sturdy and well made. The temperature control has been very consistent, which makes longer cooks much easier. Propane Side Not Hot

propane side of the barbecue is very difficult to get over 350° and takes all three burners to get it there after 20 minutes. add a smoker size works great at the propane side is terrible. can you use propane much I wouldn't buy this unit.

Good grill works well

Everything looks good, i had hoped for seals around the opening like the other pit boss grills, works well so far blue tooth did not connect, going to try again. Overall nice grill especially for the discounted cost

Smoker, Pellet Griller, Propane...

I've water to break away from propane grilling but I wasn't sure that wouldn't turn into a disaster so the Pit Boss 1100 was a safe bet. I have done a Christmas ham, pork spare ribs and beef ribs. All were delicious. There's a college library of videos to learn from so low and slow isn't as scary as I had feared. The Pit Boss is excellent quality and does the job of 3. I couldn't be happier. If you're ready to up your culinary game the Pit Boss 1100 Combo is for you.

Not worth the hassle

I ordered this from Lowes with the assembly and delivery included. The assembly people didn't show up for days- so the delivery was pushed back. I finally received the product and it wasn't built correctly AND its missing pieces! Pieces that are very obvious to anyone they are missing. This entire experience was so horrid I am not sure I will ever order from lowes! I will also be returning the product due to it missing pieces! As im told that there's nothing Lowes or the assembly people will do ...

Do NOT have them assemble

It was assembled improperly and I am still waiting for Lowes to call me back to fix this three days later. As it was assembled it's totally unusable: the bottom was backwards and multiple screws and washers were missing. Most of the rest of the bolts were only tightened by hand.

Excellent Customer Service

Not many combo gas/wood pellet grills out there - this one fits the bill and is priced well. My biggest kudos go to Front Cashier Supervisor Michelle at the North Little Rock Lowe's. There was a rolling delay in delivery and she stepped up to the plate - located my assembled grill "in the back" and made sure it was on the next scheduled delivery. Well done, Michelle!

Good to Great, with some intermittent issues

Overview: I've been using this for about 6 months and so far I have to say I'm really pleased with its smoke performance. Temperatures are consistent, the dampers do a nice job of regulating the amount of smoke, and the propane grill functions exactly how you would expect. Unfortunate that it wasn’t built correctly by Lowe

The product is fine but the Lowe’s assembly was terrible! They built it wrong! The two things designed to hold the tank were wrong! This is after the delay in delivery without any advance notice. I was home at the appointed and confirmed time but they didn’t show up. I looked only be and found that it had been delayed for two days. It would have been nice if someone had told me before the delivery window.

Assembly

My fiancé and I have been looking for months for a combo grill. We decided on this one because the reviews about the actual grill itself were all positive. We bought the grill through Lowe’s, requested they assemble the grill since my fiancé didn’t want mess it up, and picked our delivery date. The grill arrived and as my fiancé was checking things out he noticed there was no igniter. He called the customer service line, was transferred a few times, and was told someone would call him back. Lowe’s did a great job assembling and delivering this grill. Still to soon to evaluate items such as temperature accuracy but the propane side works fine and time will tell on the pellet side
