Would Not RecommendThis controller was to replace a dead controller on my PB Pro 1100. The original had acceptable temp fluctuations, but this one runs 25-50 degrees hotter. I replaced the temp probe, and it is definitely the controller. I run a Fireboard chamber temp probe and it is reporting the same. The controller literally shows that it is over and it just won't go back down to the intended temp. I could care less about Wifi especially since the app is crap. Also, still no 275 option? How do you screw that up...

Upgraded my dead controller
Would RecommendThe Wifi is 2.4 GHz I need to upgrade my WiFi. The connections are easy to do, use your logic. Colors actually matched so that helped. My Oklahoma Joe Rider DLX controller, actually the power button, died. Since it died might as well upgrade to Bluetooth and WiFi. True I need to create a panel now, but I don’t care. I have extra room around it. But no biggie to me! Room for the probes!

Would RecommendThis thing was pretty easy to install took about 15 minutes from start to finish. It basically did what it said turn my pellet grill into a Wi-Fi pellet grill works awesome.

Would RecommendI am reading the description and I see this; "Pit Boss legacy W and bluebonnet tootler - rectangular". What does this mean? I am guessing some kind of typo. Let's fix this it makes you look silly.

The new Wi-Fi unit is too new for me to evaluate but the conversion from the old to the new Wi-Fi was pretty straight forward and the customer service department was very helpful.

WiFi legacy controller
Would RecommendEasy to setup works great. My only issue is after you reach 250 degrees the temperatures increase in 50 degree increments. It would be nice if you could do it in 25 degree increments.

Great upgrade, but app needs work
Very easy to install. The controller itself works great, but the app needs work. Every time I open the app the music I'm playing pauses. If you minimize the app, you have to reopen it every time.
