They love it

The birds seem to like this seed. It attracts a lot of the smaller species as it is a smaller size of food with the only larger pieces being sun flower seeds.

Good bird seed

Not a lot to say, as it’s bird food. Arrived promptly when I ordered it. The birds seem to love it, I have to refill the feeder (not that big) daily because there is constantly 1-3 birds all day on it eating.

The birds love Pennington wild bird seed.

Summer and Winter I buy Pennington's wild bird seed for my feeder. This winter on Staten Island was unusually very cold. The wild birds that are attracted to my yard depended on that food. The ground is still covered in frozen snow that fell 3 weeks ago. I am happy that the Pennington bird seed nourish them.

Disappointed

The birds were quite happy with the seed, but it seemed to have a great deal of filler seed in it for the price I know it sells for. I could purchase a 20lb bag of generic seed and get the same quality.

Bird Seed

Pennington Wild Bird Feed is a good selection to feed your local birds. This feed can go in virtually any feeder. It appears to be good quality feed that includes sunflower seeds.

Grit

Fed one bag of Classic wild year round wild bird food to the birds and the tray is full of grit. Way more than needed. Birds won't touch it. I won't buy this brand again. Im returning my other bag..

Great food for the feeder

Easy to fill the feeders and all birds flock to it.

Black Oil Sunflower Bird seed

I have not been able to put out the bird feeder and bird seed yet because the weather here in Iowa has been so cold and full of ice/snow storms. I have used this brand in the past and know that the birds LOVE it! I am really looking forward to a little warmer weather so I can put this out for the little chirpers!!

Great for bird watching

Perfect for bird watching out of the window. I love that the bag tells you the kind of birds that it can attract. The seeds and grains seem like they are really good quality and I’m sure the birds will love it.

Great general purpose bird feed

This is a great general purpose bird feed. The birds really seem to like it. There is still snow on the ground so I don’t know how many of the seeds that fall on the ground will germinate, but let’s hope they all get eaten before that happens. I knocked one star as the bag came with a small tear and some of the feed leaked out into the box.

Good quality bird food.

I received a bag of Pennington Classic Wild Bird Feed for free in exchange for my honest opinion. So far the seeds has attracted the same birds that frequent my backyard. There are four or five varieties including the Cardinals. I would imagine a larger variety with time. The seed appears to be of high quality with a good mix. Just open the bag and pour it into your favorite feeder. I would like for the company to add a zip lock feature to the bag to make things even more convenient. A great pro...

Great bird seed.

Very good blend of seeds for our birds. Brings lots of cardinals to our feeder. Squirrels too lol. Can’t keep them away. Birds knock off some to my chickens as well and they even love it.

Average bird seed

When I opened the bag it smelled good to me. It seems like a good mix of millet, miilo, black oil sunflower seeds and wheat. It seemed very clean and looked eye appealing. All that being said, my birds didn't really love it. I noticed they picked out the black oil sunflower seeds and left pretty much everything else. They did eventually eat it all but it was a very slow go.

Really Attracts the Cardinals

We get this bird seed for exactly what it says, cardinals. They just eat this stuff up, we have to fill up the feeder on a regular basis, maybe a down side. But we love looking at the birds out our window when we have our morning coffee.
