Porter Cable, FTW
Would RecommendI bought this saw and other PC tools after being disappointed by DeWalt's inability to hold up (brushes, bearings); not only are PC saws & tools tougher, they're also less expensive. Definitely bang-for-buck, PC works hard and long with no complaints. No better saw--or brand--for the money. Loyal user.

Junk
Looses power fast. Battery takes a long time to charge. Quit working after 3 months.
Cuts like a hot knife through butter
Would RecommendI already had a couple of Porter-Cable cordless tools so I didn't need another battery. The grip is firm, the cuts are smooth and there is very little vibration. The pivot in front moves easily as you cut through the wood.

Works
Would RecommendPurchased this product to cut palm leaves in half for disposal, since I already had PC 20V batteries. This tool was fairly well put together, although the trigger was on the "meh" side. For a homegamer who uses it once in a while, this tool is more than adequate. If you need a recip saw professionally, or even for a "pro-sumer", I would honestly spend the extra money on a Milwaukee or Dewalt.

I enjoy this tool
Would RecommendI purchased this tool without battery, because I have 2 other Porter Cable tools that use the same battery. This recip works better than the corded one I used to own. I like the easy blade change, altho it was a little stiff the first time I used it. I am well satisfied with this saw.

Great Saw
Would RecommendI abuse the heck out of this saw. Jam it everywhere. I cut copper, SS, aluminum, brass, carbon steel, and wood. Use it professionally on a monthly basis, sometimes more and when it is used its an all day activity. I use the larger 4ah batteries and has never let me down. I own 3 other brands for personal use. This one cuts as good as the higher end older yellow 18v and much better then the blue and lower end green. I like the light weight and the fast aggressive cutting thats easily control...

Works great to fix other people's screw ups
Would RecommendPut to the test. Kitchen faucet was installed by some genius with loctite on all of the connections. The saw worked great to cut the faucet and all of its parts into pieces so it could be removed from the sink.
