Porter Cable Tigersaw

Works as advertised. I cut down a pallet in a matter of minutes with no problems. It is a bit noisy though. Otherwise no issues.

Use often, they work well!

My wife bought me a set of Porter Cable cordless power tools some years ago. Use them on every project. Bought a replacement sawsall, because I left mine out and it got rained on... :(

Great saw

Great saw! I actually used it to cut down many small trees. Our use it at work every day I’m in electrician have not had one problem with it I purchased it at least three months ago so I’ve put plenty of work hours into it and it still works great!

Great Addition To My 20-Volt Collection

Needed this for one weekend to finish a job so I finally had a good excuse to buy it. Works great

Powerfull

I was worried it would not have the power of an electric saw but it does at half the weight of an electri saw.

Little saw works great and use the same battery as my other Porter Cable tools.

I use as a pruning tool. Powerful but lightweight. Nice not to be tethered to an electrical cord.

Great Battery Reciprocating Saw!

Works very well battery life is really good. Not too heavy and just a sturdy piece of machinery.

Good saw great value

This option worked well for small jobs. We used it cutting down fence from the posts and didn’t have a problem cutting. Battery life was a little shorter than expected but we already had a porter-cable package and two batteries. The previous battery was fully charged before the next one died so it worked.

Goes dead fast

Battery dies after a few cuts! I even bought extra batteries and charged them several times.

Works alright

it cuts, just don't try to go too fast as it will bog down. If its too intense of a cut, it will stop mid cut. But if you go gently, it cuts through fine. Wish it came with a battery though!

Tricky thumb placement.

Works as expected. Only concern is the thumb guard could be better placed. Thumb tends to want to rest upon the backside of the moving blade shaft when applying leverage. Overall happy with product.

Overheats Too Quickly

I purchased this item in hopes of cutting a 14" tree round into thinner slabs. Upon first use the tool died after just 10 minutes of use. Thinking it was the battery, I swapped to a fresh battery only to find that the tool still did not start and that it was rather hot to the touch. Even after giving the saw a few minutes to rest, it would only work for a few seconds at a time before unexpectedly shutting off again in the middle of the cut. I own 3 other tools from the PC 20V lineup and all 3 ...

DIY Garden Tub Removal

We live in a 55+ community and the master bath contained a garden tub. Not a fan. Also, being seniors we were a little hesitant to tackle the job ourselves. Well thanks to purchase of this reciprocating saw we completed it in an afternoon -- including removal of debris!
