No power

Either the battery will not hold a charge for more than 2 minutes or the saw itself is horrible. I would not recommend anyone purchase this product. Highly disappointed.

There is no replacement batteries. They have been discontinued. Why buy the saw, guess it is a throw away tool

Not what I expected from Porter Cable

I’ve had this tool for a while, but don’t even use it that often. Mostly because it burns through batteries too quickly and I can’t complete my task. I’ve run through 6 fully charged batteries and still not completed my task. It’s not like I’m doing anything that stressful, just cutting through soft wood most of the time. It also overheats quickly and seemed to catch on fire recently. Now it doesn’t work at all. It’s a shame because I’ve always loved Porter Cable tools and have used many of ...

Great deal

Ok, I had a couple of porter cable drills with 20v batteries. Saw this sawzall for 59$ and after seeing prices without batteries I thought go for it. It was last on the shelf too. Saw was packaged good instructions and a blade ( for the other review with no blade) cmon its a blade, things happen. I actually bought a case of blades also. Initial use it works great. Already finished my job. Glad I got this for 50+ bucks.

Best Dollar Value

I love this tool, this is my third Tigersaw over a five year span. Perfect size, weight and price. I know not very long of a life span but I put a beating on this saw and it never lets me down. Only reason the others quit is on me, fell out the back of truck on the highway and other got left out in heavy for a week, otherwise who knows. It's payed for it self already.

Great power saw for when you have no electricity at the work site. Met all my needs when I was replacing old floor joists.

Used the saw one time for 3 cuts and the it froze up and motor started smoking

Great value

I bought this saw to cut desert scrub brush and for projects around the house. I already had two batteries and a charger for my Porter Cable drill set. Picked up some pruning saw blades as well. This little saw is a great value! My petite wife uses it as well and has absolutely no issues with it. My drill set is going on 5 years and no issues with it as well. For home projects and yard work I recommend Porter Cable products and Lowes for great values.

Great saw

Needed a resip saw that was short enough to get between the floor joists in my bathroom. Plumbers at some time in a past remodle had cut a lot of the joist down to only an inch and half or so of good wood. I had to cut them back some to fit a new beam that I was using to shore up the floor and facilitate putting in the new plumbing. This saw was just what I needed, cut fast and straight. I used the 4 amp hour battery and only went thru two blades. I would recommend this saw to anyone.

Works great but watch your fingers

Bought that a few days ago for work. And it works like it should. About an hour run time on one charge blade it came with hose through drywall studs and nails no proble. But my only problem is the little lip to keep your fingers from sliding to the blade needs to be a little longer making a corner cut your finger can easily slip over the guard. Photo added to see.

not for constant use

i bought the set about a year ago i am happy with it other than the fact it is not good for big jobs where constant use is required i was re roofing my old building and had to use it non stop for awhile anyway long story it over heated and quit on me so had to send thecwife back to lowes to buy me a craftsman corded one to finish the job

Good saw goes through the juice quick

The only knock is that you have several batteries because this little saw kills batteries. Works great though.

Saw is OK not great

Bought a complete set, this saw died so I replaced it only because I did not wantTo have different batteries.
