Don't waste your hard earned money on the other over priced brands! This is a great tool for the money, good power and easy to use.

Cuts through everything with power

Initially, I got this PC reciprocating saw to cut a small boards and over grown branches around the yard, but turns out this tool is so much more versatile. Doesn't come with blade, but box says it does

I haven't even had a chance to work with this thing and already have had a bad experience. It came without the blade, even though the box says it comes with a blade. They make a point on the box to call out it does not come with a battery/charger...so why lie about the blade? You call Lowe's and they can't help you. You call Porter Cable and the CSR tries to convince you that you can't read what's plainly written on the box. They're now "ordering" a blade to send to me and didn't clarify if...

Great tool

Goes where you need it. Strong and reliable. Short battery life so got the 4AH; much better.

Trimming trees

I use it to trim low limbs that are in the way when I cut grass. Cutting back crepe myrtles is easy. Lighter than a chainsaw and safer.

Mighty Saw

A very powerful, compact little saw. It does a lot on just a single charge of the battery. Cut wood (tree limb) and metal (storage shed tear down) and it performed terrifically.

Excellent value

Unfamiliar with this brand, but am very happy with the purchase. I have used this for many projects around the house, including trimming branches 6" in diameter. I like the power of these batteries but the small profile means they run out of energy more often than I like. Fortunately an extra battery is included and the slim profile and light weight allows you to look over that matter.

Amazed at the quality of this product

I am amazed at the quality of this product for the price I paid. The only problem was that I did not realize it did not come with the battery until i got it home. (my fault)

Not what I expected from Porter-Cable

Bought this saw in mid-2015, have used it very little. I'm 70 yrs old and just used it for light jobs around my property. Last week, while using the saw, the end of the saw that secures the blade broke off. This saw has only been used approx a dozen times and I expected better from Porter-Cable. I also have a PC 20volt drill and the dual tank air compressor. I hope these items hold up better than the saw did. Really disappointed...

lots of power and convenience

This tool is awesome with the convenience of cordless. Add it to your collection if you don't have one. Great for cutting through anything from pipes to limbs. Doesn't seem to use much battery either.

A Must Have!

I had to rebuild part of my deck and couldn't have done it without this tool, which I bought back in May. It cut through everything I threw at it; metal and wood. Plenty powerful, charge lasts a long time, and blades are a snap to change. I'm almost looking forward to the next time I need to use it. Fantastic tool. This, along with the Porter Cable 20V drill made my deck rebuild a LOT easier.

Great saw for lite duty

I have used this saw for 3 days and it works great. Has lots of energy and is light in weight easy to use.

Works like it should

Porter cable is still my favorite brand and this reciprocating saw really works well and from the feel of it i think it will survive. All my other power tools are porter cable and i'm surprised they are able to withstand the abuse.

Saw is easy to use with good safety lockout feature. Seems to be easy on battery use. High value.
