It doesn’t connect to my app half the time.

I have been dealing with this stupid monitor for 18 months now. Half the time we have to completely shut it down and restart it, or we have to redownload the app. It is SO frustrating that it never works and constantly says “offline”. We are always having to reconnect it. I do not recommend this monitor at all.

Unreliable

Hopeful New Mom, Disappointed

Selecting a baby monitor as a new mom is a BIG deal. I was really hopefully with the Owlet, as it checked a lot of boxes for us. Disappointed in Camera, Love the sock!

I used the owlet sock paired with the Nanit camera for my first child 4 years ago. Loved the sock, I don’t believe the camera was out yet. Fast forward to 2022, had my 2nd child and hunted down the newest but discontinued owlet sock before stores sold out and absolutely love it and decided to get the camera too. Loved it til it stopped working

We loved this camera for peace of mind for the 1.5 years of use we've gotten out of it. Unfortunately the camera just stopped working once the new app was released (that we received no notification even existed) and now the cam will not update so we cannot use it anymore.

Video feed freezes after 20 seconds

This product is trash. Video feed constantly cuts out or freezes or goes offline. You have to force close the app and reopen and rinse and repeat. Microphone barely ever works without freezing the feed. Theres about a 4/5 second delay which isnt a big deal except for the fact that if youre lucky enough for it to unfreeze on its own without force closing the app, itll them jusf be that much more delayed

Foster carer

I am a foster carer in Australia and have very young babies out of hospital. This device is great. Certainly the sock 3 has given me peace of mind.

Love Owlet!

We love our Owlet dream sock and camera duo. It provides peace of mind. We love being able to monitor sleep quality through the app and have had great experience with their customer service team. Wouldn’t buy again

The feed is constantly going in and out either sound or video or both. I hate that this doesn’t have a handheld monitor. I got this as a gift and would definitely not buy again. It isn’t just my wifi either. I’d say it’s a very fuzzy picture too unless you’re going to put it literally right above the crib. Kills my phone battery like crazy with the app as well.

Neverending connectivity Issues

Camera shows is offline 2 or 3 times a week and we have been restarting it to make it work again. attempts each time. We truly keep it just because was expensive and we can not afford to buy something else. When it works.. it works nicely, I wish it could be more consistent and work a whole week without having to fix it while waking up my kid the process

Eases my anxiety!

We had the sock which we used because we bed shared (bad I know). I got the camera to put him in his own room and I’m impressed. My husband sleeps with the live video running on his phone through out the night. You can set the sensitivity of the noise and motion which is great. I love this thing and will be using owlet for our future children!

We love this camera!!!!

The owlet camera is so easy to set up and relocate into whatever room our son is in. It is a clear picture and easy to adjust the angle of the view. It is a great camera for a first mom like me, because I can literally see his breaths. I also love that it tells you the temperature of the room, and that it plays like a sound speaker even if you are on a different app in your phone. I would recommend this to anyone! Really easy video monitor

Such peace of mind!

I was gifted the dream sock and my coworkers bought me the matching baby cam which I can view anytime in the app. I LOVE all three…the sock, cam, and app! Anytime he even wiggles his sock loose it sings a gentle song alerting me to check. Ehhh, when it works

Ehhh, when it works then it works but when it doesn’t work it’s frustrating. This cam bundled with 2 sock monitors is what we initially bought a year ago. It does the job when it wants to. There is always on going connection issues between the wifi and base, the sock and base, our phones and the cam not loading. It’s been an on going issue, after issue, after issue. Always disconnected

This camera non-stop disconnects. The only Way to reconnect is to go into your baby’s room and fix it which is not ideal during naps. I would suggest going with another brand. I have 2 cameras and neither work. two

Never stays connected to wifi

I’ve had this camera for nearly 2yrs now and within this last year at least twice a month the camera all of a sudden no longer wants to work/stay connected to our WiFi and I have to completely delete it from the app and reset it. It’s become way more of a pain than it’s worth.
