Wish it had a separate monitor screen

Love the dream sock and owlet cam duo. Really easy to have both in one app. Great image and sound. Delay is very minor maybe 2 seconds. Rarely have trouble with loading. Gives me ease throughout the night or any time I’m not around. Only thing is that I wish there were a separate screen monitor to place around your home. Sometimes I’m busy in the kitchen and can’t open my phone to check on my baby. Or if someone is watching my son they won’t have access to it to check on him while he naps.

Great when I works…

My L.O. Is 8 months old, we use the socks and monitor, we love being able to she his sleep patterns but we absolutely HATE that the camera takes so long to load and then won’t connect or says that I need to try again. We have great WiFi, we shouldn’t have this issue… is this a model issue?

Great Camera

This camera is pretty great. The design is sleek the cord is extra long so it can go places. The base of it is super magnetic so I have quite literally placed it on the top of my metal end table rather than messing with the provided wall mount. There are a bunch of features such as receiving notifs (movement/noise/temp & may adjust the sensitivity notifs), capability of zoom, switches to landscape mode, and the standard night cam. Disappointed

I received this for my baby shower. I am highly disappointed. The delay on the camera is horrible. It is at least a minute delay. I had my Wi-Fi speed checked just in case it was my end, but everything is more than adequate. I will pick up my baby, take to living room to feed and the camera will still show me in the nursery picking her up. I will have to look at other brands.

Not the best.

I bought this on sale to try it out, and I don’t hate it but I don’t LOVE it. This camera has horrible audio, and also does not have an on or off option while being plugged in. In order to turn it off it has to be unplugged which is very inconvenient, I had higher hopes for this product.

Really love!

5 month old has been sleeping with the sock and camera since she was birth. Really enjoy the features. I never have trouble with connecting. I did wish they made a monitor separate from the app/phone because when sitters or family watch they can’t use the camera or sock (but mostly wish just for the camera for sitters).

Product is pure trash, not buy

This camera is trash and the app was made my a 4th grader. You will be lucky to connect to camera period... you don't have time to fiddle with a dumbest camera after getting a child to sleep... garbage garbage garbage

Connection issues

Great camera when it works .. which is less than half the time. Infuriating to have it always disconnecting, often when the baby is sleeping so you don’t know if they’re awake, safe, etc. Had to buy a second monitor from somewhere else. So disappointed.

Wi-Fi is always disconnecting

Just like all of the rest of the bad reviews, the owlet cam never stays connected to the Wi-Fi. I had the same exact issue with the owlet sock, and after many attempts, it just magically connected on its own. For the price of these items, you’d think they would be made better. Extremely disappointed in this product. DO NOT waste your money.

Terrible Wi-fi connectivity

I would never recommend this product to anyone. It has a great picture when it connects to wi-fi but that rarely happens. It randomly loses connection even though it has a full wi-fi signal. Then it will never reconnect unless you unplug it and plug it back in, which is not something you can do in the middle of the night. It would be a great product if it actually did what it was suppose to.

Waste of money

Disconnects more than it stays connected. Had to buy a cheap baby monitor to use and when I wanted to see my baby have to go on the app and pray it works. Wish I would have spent my money on a different one.

Don't waste your money

Since day one it was a battle to even hook up the camera or the dream sock to our wi-fi. Eventually after atleast 4 hours of trying (not in one sitting) they magically connected. Now the reason I'm writing the review, the camera just died I tried a different cord and the red light turns on but it turns off before the app can connect. This camera is awful. One minute it will be working fine, then all the sudden it will say it’s offline and you can’t get it to reconnect. Has nothing to do with our internet as everything else that’s connected to it works just fine. Doesn’t matter if we close the app, reopen it, sign out of the app and log back in. Somedays it works and other days it doesn’t and it’s the most frustrating thing to wake up in the middle of the night and try to check on the baby and the camera says “offline”! Don’t...

Don't waste your money

Issues galore. The sock gave us anxiety with false errors so we don't even use that. The camera is ok quality wise but the sound just cuts out all the time and then I realise I can't hear baby notifications are too sensitive and pick up any noise even when adjusted. If someone calls you can't hear bubs definitely recommend getting an actual monitor. Also noticed a lot of feedback here say ppl have issues with customer service hotline and customer service have just replied call the hotline. Umm...

Don’t waste your money on an expensive monitor

So disappointed with how expensive this monitor is and how unreliable it is. At least once a week this issue comes up and won’t fix itself unless you unplug the unit from power which is really handy when you’re wanting to see bubs because she’s sleeping so can’t just walk in and unplug it. 100% Do NOT recommend

The stupid camera NEVER connects, and when it does it just freezes. What the heck is the point of this product? I contacted customer support and they “help” was that my internet is having issues - nothing else was having issues connecting. We’ve had nothing but problems with our owlet camera. I will NEVER buy another product again. How am I supposed to have a piece of mind when I cannot see my child - I just get a frozen image?

Perfect gift for expecting parents

Bought this as a gift and they told me this was very easy to set up. They said picture/sound were clear. This should be a very helpful once baby arrives!

This product is so easy to setup and use. I have had a few people loose babies to SID’s and without this I would never get sleep.

What a fantastic Camera!

I don’t understand all the bad reviews here, this camera is literally the best out there. Easy to set up, can view from anywhere with just your phone or tablet, clear videos, night vision, can talk back, etc… I have two different ones one with the socks and one without and I love them both.
