So far not impressed with software app

First off, the controller installs easily but that’s a pretty low bar. It is attractive although it is approx 2x the size of an equivalent analog controller. I like that I can mount it higher up since there is no need to interface with it manually once installed. Be aware that LEDs are constantly illuminated which actually lights up the area around the controller. Main glow appears to be blue when off and green when running programs. My biggest gripe surrounds the whole reason that I bought this...

Unit is OK - Difficult to Configure - Poor Support

I was able to configure the unit but WiFi setup was very sketchy insofar as I had to reset the system several times. The instructions are virtually useless and Customer Support - virtually non-existent as they take several days to respond to texts or phone calls to their support number and sometimes do not respond at all. The app (I have an iOS Apple iPhone) freezes and requires phone reboots to correct. The rain sensor feature does not function correctly and the unit runs even if the jumper is...

Worked fair for 3 months but can't get it to turn on the valves any more had reinstall my old rain-bird unit.

Loses connection! Don't waste your money.

Continually loses wi-fi connection (almost daily). The wi-fi router is in the garage along with it, and it can't seem to find it once disconnected. I have 2 unplug (reset) the device numerous times before it finally finds the signal. Only for it to lose connection in a couple days again. What a complete waste of money. It's going back. B-Hyve is the way to go

Just purchased. WiFi signal is strong. Have only used it for a short time but setup was all done via smartphone (super easy). App tells you what programs are scheduled next and when they are done.

Garbage

Does not water even when programmed. When it does water...its at whatever time it wants to...not the time that is set. Not trustworthy at all.

Great Controller

Easy to set up and program. Works great with my iPhone. Unlike other WiFi controllers this one has a screen,buttons and a dial for operating the system without your phone.

Won't connect

I installed the app as instructed and attempted to pair the phone to the controller. After several attempts to pair via bluetooth and wifi it just would not connect. I tried to call customer support and they told me via recording that a person would call me back within 30 minutes to an hour. They never called me back. I returned to the store.

Some easy so.e not

Was easy to wire and mount. Bluetooth easy. Wireless was very difficult. 800 help line, not helpfull. Unable to get a person or promised call back. Finally got to work. Settings easy to do

Functional but WiFi connection or app buggy

Have used this controller for 2-3 years. Easy install, easy manual controls. reliable in automated control once WiFi connection made. But, getting and maintaining WiFi connection buggy: every year after winter “off” mode and occasionally during summer need to reconnect. Can’t remember the process each time so takes several steps to get to “your device is found” by the app on phone or tablet but cannot connect to the unit to my WiFi. Easy to use

Great product! Easy to use app. Only thing know this you can’t run all sprinklers at the same time.
