Don't last

I find this double easy to program and use. I have had several orbit single, double and triple units. I manage to get one summer season out of them. pack them away for winter, batteries remove and the next season one of the zones want open timed or manual. I had the most success with the single hose connection. If you want to replace ever year give it try.

I use every year; think they last 3-4 years.

I don't have a sprinkler system but these make watering much easier!

Orbit has made watering difficult!

Orbit, who is normally solid, has made a timer that is more conusing and difficult to program, than my laptop (yes, I know my laptop well). The previous versiion of the timer was intuitive and relatively straight forward. This newer version is cumbersome and prone to error. I do not recommend it.

worth it

feels solid but 4 star because id like to see metal threads on inlet and outlet. Getting thru the menus the first time was kind of confusing on how to switch between the settings for each outlet (sorry guys hold on to the instructions for a few days). once i figured it out its relatively easy to set and forget. although the manual mode is a lot easier in the one outlet version.

Failed

Worked for about a year. Batteries died and when I went to replace it with new ones it wouldn't turn back on. Tried different batteries (even went to the store and bought fresh batteries) and still no luck. Package says it has a 6 year warranty...Not sure how to claim it though. Any suggestions? Take it back to Lowes?

Functions as well as the 12 station 115v model

Sturdy construction and the battery compartment has a good seal. There is plenty of flexibility of start times, days, and lengths of running.

Nice at 1st

It worked for a month or so then 1 valve would not work. A few months later the other value stopped working so I'm waiting for my warranty replacement to see what happens

Failed

This worked well for one spring and one fall then it quit working. I kept it indoors when I wasn't watering grass so it never froze or got too hot. The display quit working.

Easy to program, works great

Easy to program from well-written instructions. I only need 1 schedule and 1 station for now but plan to expand and purchased this for that purpose. I don't understand the rain delay, assume it is a manual setting that would need to be changed. It works great

Its works ok manually

The controller worked pretty good. The wifi extender and app isnt up to par and often disconnects

Frustrating

I purchased one of these last year and a year to the date one side stopped working. I purchased a new one and one side never worked. The package says 6 year warranty and I have been on the phone with customer service for over 1 hour to get it replaced and no one has assisted me yet. I really liked these till recently.

Did not work as well as it should have.

It did not run on both valves when I was trying to test it manually. The manual option said “All” and water flowed from the 1st connection but not the 2nd connection.

Good but does not recognize SM/PM

The is timer is easy to program and works well… for the most part. My experience is that it will allow you to set both AM and PM times but it does not recognize them. For example, if it’s 4:00 pm and the timer is set to start at 6:30 am, it wants to start at 6:30 pm. So I have to turn it off until after 6:30 pm. Then it’s okay to begin at 6:30 am.
