Station 2 Never Worked

Worked well on one station. Never functioned with 2 stations

Beware.

Brand new and doesn’t work properly. Only one port would work.

Ease of use is determinate upon your intellect.

Versatile and simple to use. Orbits a name that’s been around a while. I’m hopeful for longevity.

leaks

used for one summer probably 20 times? tried using it this summer and only one of the valves works. also the box itself is leaking heavily, as in shooting out water. when it was new it was awesome. does not last

Nice water timer

easy to use and program. Set and forget as long as the batteries are good.

Must have for gardeners.

Orbit 2 Timer

As another reviewer has noted you may get 2 seasons out of them no matter how good you take care of them. My experience however is they leak when turned off to the tune of about 1/gal per hour. it usually happens after they sit, even indoors. I've tried silicon spray after the season to try and stop the leaking while sitting and keep the internal seals good but nothing works. You simply have to replace them when they start leaking but they do work and they are very dependable during the season...

Stay away from this product and Orbit's support!!

Purchased this product 2 weeks before giving up and returning. The product is as defective as their support. I could get it to start with the timer but could not get the water to shut off after time on timer had ended. I watched multiple videos, reset multiple times and reached out to support and no fix. The support didn't really seem to know what they were talking about and gave up after the boiler plate answers of turn it off/on, check batteries and valves etc. Overall seems like a broken expe...

Count on 18 months of use if you take care of it

Works as advertised. At the end of the summer, you must remove the batteries and store the timer inside an area that will not freeze. If it freezes it is likely to crack. I have had 5 of these units and they last about 18 months or two seasons. After that they typically stop working internally for some reason. However, they are the best option I have found. I have used them for multiple years (purchasing new ones when necessary) to water two different levels of vegetable garden.

Great value and easy to setup/use.

After returning the first one, due to bad solenoid, we are extremely pleased with this automatic hose timer with dual output connections. Easy to setup and operate, great value product.

Read directions first, completely.

A nightmare of simplicity

I've used Orbit timers for decades. They have been simple to use and far more rugged and reliable than their plastic case suggests. Until now. This new digitally programmable timer is a nightmare. First, the instructions are ridiculously tiny to read and they call the two threaded pipes "outlets" on the drawing and "stations" in the instructions. Not helpful. I found the programming to be dense and multi-layered and I would find myself in places not explained. I almost got it to work, except in ...

I have been using these for 8 years. The programing is a little tedious to get used to. If you can program contacts in your phone, you can do these. I do occasionally have one that after winter storage will not work. Maybe every couple of years. The battery operation is what I like best, no wires to run. I primarily use these to do drip irrigation for pots of flowers around the house. I will continue to use these. When you store these for the winter, remove the batteries and squirt a little WD...

I like the fact that the watering can be divided into zones to run consecutively, especially helpful when you have low water pressure and can’t run all the sprinklers at once.
