Leaked from Day 1

Just put this on my faucet to try out with a couple of sprinklers. Confirmed all connections are snug and the timer is leaking from the inside. It’s completely unusable! Returning this.

Doesn't last

Worked fine for a few months. Then it would periodically shut itself off for a few months. Then the screen faded away.

Worked Great... for a week.

This item worked great for about a week or so. The timer worked correctly, was easy to set up, and the water flow was fine. After about a week of 2x per day use, the unit started to leak from inside of the unit. I double checked to make sure all connections were snug, and realized it was not leaking from the hose or faucet connections. VERY disappointed, considering the price, and will be attempting to return this to Lowes.

Leaks+ Blurry display in 3 months

Bought two of these. Just 3 months and it's already leaking. One of the display is blurry. I changed batteries and it's not low in battery. Never any orbit products! Learned my lesson. Should've seen all the other negative reviews.

Reliable

Worked even after being submerged in salt water for 3 days

it saves you time and money (water bill)

This is the perefect way to water your garden to keep it living during the hot days of summer, especially when we are on vacation. The system work great - I have used these products for years and I couldn't be more pleased. My garden has received just the right amount of water as needed.

Bad product

Orbit should recall this timers. It will fail no mater what. Control board must be faulty. I called Orbit, and even if they know about the problem and warranty is for 6 years, they asked me to send faulty timers at my own expanses.

Difficult to program at first

I used an older model of this timer and liked it a lot, this one I like but found it somewhat more difficult to program.

1/3 perfect 1/3 leaks 1/3 can't use

I purchased 3 and 1 is perfect, 1 leaks, 1 wont connect to any garden hose.

Orchard

Simple to use and set up. Unfortunately, it was to replace a similar one I purchased a year ago that failed. Hot conditions likely the reason. Instructions say not to use above 120f and hottest it got was 114f. If you are home it works great. If you are away and it fails open you risk flooding or a very high water bill. ….but you get what you pay for and this is reasonably inexpensive.

Water does not shut off

Ran for 2-3 weeks before the valve would not shut off. Pulled that batteries, reset the parameters installed it again and again 2-3 weeks after the valve wouldn't shut off. This device is supposed save water expenses but has twice now flooded my homesteading garden beds and drowned out my produce. It has cost me revenue on my investments as it's too late in the season to plant certain produce.

Difficult to set up

This is the second Orbit timer I’ve had. The earlier version was a lot easier to get set up. This one is not.

Orbit 2 Output Hose and Digital Timer is a waste m

I purchased three units, all three failed in a few weeks time. One of them the valve(station one) would not open consistently, the second unit digital display stop working and third leaked from inside. The quality of the Orbit products is on the decline and would not recommend it.
