The first time I used this product I was amazed. I sprayed a large waterbug and I literally watched him run a bit more and then stop and flip over. It was crazy. I use this inside and out and I am very happy with it. The spray wand sometimes doesn't work but it still gets the job done. For people with roach issues, roaches do not like soap, so if you take the broken, left over soap pieces and put them in a spray bottle, fill with water and spray them, they will die. Good Product

Good product for home use. Works well indoors, easy to use and it doesn't stain. Does help control insects for a short time, but don't expect it to be as effective as stronger products used by exterminators.

Ortho Home Defense Max Wand

Kills bugs listed on label. Very good defense against large, black wood ants which were brought onto property by my contractor when they hauled in fill dirt. However, not very effective against Mamorated Stink Bugs - not aware of any product yet that will kill them. I hope Ortho & scientists find insect killer that kills these nasty stink bugs.

Great barrier against ants and spiders.

Every two weeks I spray exterior perimeter of house and interior of garage and inside wall of under the sinks in kitchen and 1st floor bathrooms and this product lays down a protective barrier against ants and spiders tht is markedly noticeable versus past years. We virtually have no ants ever in the house. Past couple of years we were always fighting the little "sugar ants" in early summer in the kitchen and the larger black ants on occasion …this year wife and I can't recall seeing any ant ins...

Keeps the bugs out of the house

When the bugs start showing up I will spray outside around the exterior walls and the interior outside walls. It stops the bugs from getting into the house and usually last a pretty long time. I may have to treat the home one more time in the warmer months and that is it. Keeps the ants, spiders and crickets out of the house.

Good Purchase

Recently got this bug spray for ant problem and spiders. It was the first time I tried Ortho but it seems to be working very well! Noticed results within 10 minutes of spraying!

GREAT FOR ALL BUGS

We have purchased this for several years and we have never been disappointed. We all get the little ants in the spring this kills on contact.

Not what I had expected ~ even better!!!

Finally got around to using the Ortho Home Defense yesterday. Had not realized when purchased that it was battery operated (just thought it was a larger container than the others). Works great ~ sprays just where I wanted it to go around my foundation. Also, have had Borer Bees actually boring into parts of my soffit, so sprayed that whole area. Later, I found a few dead bees. Good for a Year is right

I have used this product for several years and just bought another for this years spraying. It works and works and works even after a lot of rains it still kills the bugs. I know this as they lay dead on the patio and porch. Very few make it into our house and those usually are dead within a few feet of the door.

love it I have been using it for a few years now and I can do a better job then my pest control guy did, I use it once a month, easy to use fast and it doesn't seam to bother my dogs

Kills all bugs here in MI and in FL in the winter, have used it for a couple of years!

The spray mechanism is great!

If you have used this type of product before you know what a pain it is to keep pumping and squeezing to get the product out of the container. The spray mechanism is great I did the entire house in 30 minutes, applied product evenly and accurately. This is a big improvement !!!

Hands down the best product-value you can buy!

After attempting other brands in varying applications, sizes and purposes, this product is the best insect killer (especially ants!) I have used. Certainly worth every penny.

No more bugs!

We got this because our new house had spiders everywhere and creepy crawly bugs in the basement. Since I've treated the perimeters of the inside of the house, I haven't seen one bug. However, the wand and sprayer was frustrating to use, cause it seemed to get clogged and not spray for 30 seconds at a time.

I use it all around the house. The battery operated wand is great, no more pumping.

Great idea

Like the battery powered wand, feel like a pro with this. Not having to pump. next best thing would be a harness to throw over my shoulder
