Good quality

Great catch basin. I bought one previously for a drain in my yard, works beautifully and has held up well over the years.

Catch basin works

Have a low point in my driveway that would cause washout on a flowered hill when a heavy rain would hit. Installed this along with crush and run and pipe and now no washout on the hill. Plus the green grate blends in with the foliage on the hill.

Parts were missing

It was shipped to me from the store and parts were missing

Not cool man!

It leaks from all the connection points so I really don't understand why I should have to wrap up drain basin in fabric which is also drainable so if you're talking about a huge amount of volume of water leaking that doesn't really make sense if it drips but we've got 4 in of standing water on the surface there's no way I want that coming out the back connection and the front connection doesn't make any sense why were those sorry little Phillips number 6 screws??? Like put in Allen head on there...

Worked great for my french drain. You need to be careful to make certain the sleeves attach properly.

Decent quality

I like the metal grate. I wouldn’t drive over it with a full-size tractor. A lawnmower tractor at most

Joints leak alot.

The metal grate is the best feature. Water does not bounce off but goes in. However, the connectors leak. Once everything was connected we did a test of the system before burying the lines. The joints leaked, alot. Turned the trench into a mud pit. We had to disconnect everything, apply silicon liberally before reconnecting and after retest had to add more silicon. I want to move water away from the house. I may have to resort to flex seal to get the water to go in the pipe.

Flawed design

This basket in theory should function by carrying water away from your home using some kind of drainage pipe. Unfortunately even after the two components are attached/locked into place, there remains 3mm holes, and does not totally seal closed. When water fills up the basket, the water spills out the holes, and also leaks around seams. Had to purchase marine sealant to waterproof holes. Not impressed. Would not buy from NDS company again.

Rainfall gutter solution.

Used catch basin for the rope chain comming off of gutter on the house. Quality is excellent. Very sturdy product. Metal grate on top is wide enough for a chain to go through.

Love the grate! It holds up to the foot traffic and the lawnmower.

Missing piece

Product was supposed to come with a flat shutoff piece for those that want only one outlet pipe. This did not so I'll have to make one and glue it in. Too much effort to include the parts that you need . Too bad.
