The 12 inch Catch Basin Drain Kit with 2-opening basin, 2 outlet adapters, and plug features a decorative botanical drain grate that complements your landscaping while it drains away heavy flows of water from lawns, landscaped areas, under downspouts, patios, and walkways. The drain grate, or drain cover, blocks leaves and debris from entering your pipeline for a beautiful drainage system, inside and out. As part of a complete drainage system, the catch basin directs water to connected drain pipes which carry the water to a discharge point downstream such as a pop-up emitter, or to percolate into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench. The catch basin is made of polypropylene and the drain grate, also known as a drain cover, is made of polyethylene treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking in the sun. The grate has an open surface area of 53.1 sq. inch and 162 GPM flow rate. Rated for NDS Class B loads when properly installed. Basin features a built-in sump that is easy to access and clean.
