Buy from a supply house not a box store

Purchased this kit and ended up ordering the adapters online to replace the junk ones that come with this kit. The adapter has flaws that don’t create a solid connection. There are holes at the locking points for water and dirt to get in when you put the adapters on. You can see the difference on the supply house ones. There is a solid surface that covers the front of the hole. Box store ones do not have a solid surface that covers the exterior of the opening. That creates leaks from and into y...

Missing parts

After waiting over 35 minutes for my curbside pickup, I had to go inside of store and find someone to help me and then... when I got the product and after getting back home, pieces were missing. I called the store and spoke to Kenneth (Johnson, I believe) and he is supposed to check if another of this same product, with all pieces, is in stock and call me back. This incident is after I lost my $10 Lowe's reward on my last order. Very disappointed in Lowe's in Fultondale, AL.

Proper drain for your problem area

Didn’t realize oak tree tags would cover up the drain as it comes off driveway so have to remove them. Think about your problem areas first.

Catch the water if you can

Worked very well to remove water from my yard into the ditch. Easy to install and use.

I have used this brand (NDS) before and find their products well made and easy to work with. Connections are solid and overall well constructed.

Good drain basin

Quality materials. Easy to assemble with PVC or corrugated pipe. I installed near the downspout and upstream of the pop up emitter. The 'drop out' feature in the drain basin minimizes dirt build up in the corrugated pipe and emitter elbow.

Not ready for corrugated pipe connection

Overall, it is a good product, but the two pipe connection adapters that come with it only support smooth pipe like pvc. if you want to connect to a corrugated pipe, you have to buy another adapter. I was unable to find one at the local store or at the online website. I had to find one on the Internet at a different retailer. It is lame that they don't include those adapters as they probably cost $2 ea as they are made in China. NDS will sell you one for additional profit when purchased it el...
