Quit working after 1 pot

I ran a pot of water through the system per the instructions, but it only brewed ½ pot and shut off. So I emptied the reservoir & started over. This time it brewed a full pot but steam was coming out (which fogged the clock) and sputtered water all over the counter. I unplugged the unit, let it cool completely and thought, "third time is a charm" and tried again. This time the coffee maker wouldn't work at all. Stopped brewing midway

Would Not Recommend

My old Hamilton Beach finally died and I bought this coffee maker. After only a few uses it stopped brewing and nothing I did could make it start again. I purchased it due to the timer feature as we like to have coffee ready when we get up. I unplugged it several times, tried to brew again and nothing. Will be purchasing another brand today. Very disappointed.

This is our sixth Mr Coffee maker, from Horse Trailers to homes we have been delighted with all our purchases.Reading some of the negative reviews leads me to believe that some buyers are limited in intelligence of course if the machine breaks no problem otherwise these coffee machines are first class in performance and price.

Done with this coffee maker

Would Not Recommend

Wanted white coffee maker like our old Mr Coffee with strong brew feature. This was not white but pinkish, top heavy, and made toxic tasting coffee even after cleaning and making several times. Also don't need clock but wasn't lit up anyway. It opened only from the right which is the wrong side for our kitchen layout. it cost the same as the coffee pot to ship back. Don;t know what we will find now. Very disappointing.

Would Not Recommend

Bought 1 month ago. Needed white coffee maker. Brew basket has to align perfectly. To many moving parts for a machine. Always bought Mr. Coffee brands but my old machine by them broke. I wouldn't buy this again. Cannot turn off beeping when brew complete. No self clean. Bulky machine. Glass thermos thin. Does the job but is a cheap model of their brands. Price is good but I'm going to look for another machine. More modern and more stylish.

Disappointed!

Would Not Recommend

I bought this yesterday. Two out of 4 pots have been a disaster. If you do not place the basket PERFECTLY in place ( which you cannot be sure until it starts to brew) the coffee does not drip into the carafe. It just stays in the basket until it is full, and then there is water and coffee grounds flowing all over the place!

good coffee for a while

I bought this Nov 2014. I do not use it daily, mostly weekends and holidays. so here it is, May 2016. I travel a lot and was told it has been down for a month. I being somewhat experienced in such things inspected the thermal limiters in series to the heating element expecting one or both to be open in the circuit, I was wrong. measured about 26M ohms across the heating element. pretty major part to be burned out after such short use.

buyer beware, color is not white, it is cream.

Every appliance in my kitchen both large and small are bright white. This coffee maker although listed as white (the picture on the website, and the box is bright white), it is however in fact cream or light almond colored, so it looks completely out of place in my kitchen.

Works fine. I like the automatic 2-hour turn-off of the keep-it-hot feature. I do agree with another reviewer who said the space to pour the water in is a little small- takes getting used to. My last Mr. Coffee lasted 10 years- hope this one does as well. I was not as happy with delivery time- took 8 days despite the rather high $8.50 delivery charge. Lots of other on-line retailers give you a free delivery option that can take that long but if you pay a delivery charge it's much quicker. Having...
