What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally effective at protecting cords and preventing tripping hazards, with many praising its quality and ease of use. However, some customers reported issues with the product not laying flat, even after attempts to heat or flatten it. It may also have difficulty adhering to uneven surfaces. The key strengths are its ability to cover and protect cords, as well as its versatility in accommodating different cord sizes. The main drawbacks appear to be the product's tendency to curl or buckle, especially in colder weather, and the difficulty in getting it to adhere properly to the floor.

Would RecommendNever used product like this before. Was easy to use and hid the cord well, blending with the concrete floor. Eliminated a tripping hazard with exposed cord. Comes with 2-sided adhesive to secure to the floor but I did not need it as it laid flat by itself.

Useless
Would Not RecommendComes rolled up and takes heat and time to flatten. Then it doesn't stay flat. Useless.

Gets the job done, with one catch
Would RecommendThis PVC overfloor cord protector is a good quality product and does the job for covering 1 to 2 round cords, or 3 or 4 flat cords (e.g. - flat Internet cables). The only drawback is the product packaging, because the product comes snuggly rolled up in a tight coil, and it will NOT lie down flat any time soon. I had to reverse-roll it, stuff it back in its box and let it sit over night, and even then I had to keep reverse-bending the ends before it would finally lay down nearly flat on the end...
We bought this to cover our fiber optic wire so our lawn cutters wouldn't cut it when edging around a telephone pole. It worked great. It covered the wire and then we buried part of it so it is protected and we cut it to length and nailed it to the pole. It was recommended by a worker in the wire section of our Lowes. He was very helpful and friendly.

Too Rigid
Would Not RecommendAlthough the product provides the protection of 2 thin cords and prevents a trip hazard as the product is used for, that’s the 2 star rating portion. The negative to this product is that no matter how much you heat it up before use, it will return to its rolled up form and therefore bow in the middle and curl at the ends. No amount of heating or bending in the opposite direction will do the trick to make it lie completely flat. Once it either bows up or curls up on the ends, you are back where y...

Comes rolled up, for weeks it won't lay flat
Would Not RecommendDoesn't perform its simple job because it's stupidly shipped rolled up. I put weights on it, and that didn't even make it lay flat. It's MORE of a HAZARD that just having the wire, this product is a failure.
Not worth it
Would Not RecommendUnless you have a heat gun and one wire to conceal. I would consider a throw rug before using this.
