too stiff

I purchased this cover to go over a couple of cords going from the computer to the back of the monitor. Now cutting it to length was fine, I knew it would be tough even with industrial style scissors, which is good if you are protecting power cords. But it came in a 9"x 9" box all coiled up. Too stiff

This is sold rolled up, and the plastic is so stiff that no amount of bending it back on itself or flattening it under heavy weights will get it to lay flat. I bought this to cover a cord running across carpet, so the double-sided tape was useless. After reading some other reviews, I resorted to soaking it in about 2 gallons of boiling water (poured over it in the sink). Too Stiff

This product is way too stiff to work with. I put it in the sink in hot water to soften it up enough to be able to straighten it out - this was after it had been in the house for a couple of days - it softened up and I thought it would be okay. I left it in the house to work with the next day; it went right back to its stiff-unworkable state. I had to put all of them in the tub in hot water again, and then take them out one at a time and insert the wire right then with no waiting period. While t...

Cord Cover

The product will not flatten out! It is definitely a waste of money and time.

Doesn't match advertisement picture

Cable channel too small. You can't fit two decent cords in it. You can put two cheep dollar store cords in it. The cover is rolled up for packaging. We wanted to use it outdoors, but it doesn't unroll well in colder climates. We returned it as it didn't meet our needs. We purchased Hillman Group 5-ft x 1-1/4-in Plated Steel Slotted Angle to cover the extension cords.

Waste of time and money!

When I found this product, it was exactly what I was looking for: something to cover and conceal cords so children in my classroom would not trip. Turned out to be a joke. Although the cords are concealed neatly, the product itself would not adhere flat to the floor with the double stick tape. This produced a worse tripping hazard than the cords themselves. Product will be returned.

Tightly coiled and hard to uncurl

The idea of this cord cover is nice, but since it is packed like a coil, it is very hard to uncurl while adding a cord. Someone who saw me working on it said it looked like I was "wrestling an alligator." Right after she said it, the cover flipped up and cut me across the bridge of my nose. Ouch! Will not fit a thick cord. Product is used in a high-traffic area, and I might need to return it if it does not "warm up" and lie flat.

Gets the job done

HAd to flatten it with heavy object for about a week- it kept twisting and defeating the purpose. Now it works well.

It works just as it should work. Removes the danger of having someone trip on an extension cord. Easily cut to the length you need.

This is NOT Brown, it's Grey

We purchased this 'Brown' Cord cover to match our hardwood floors. Grey doesn't match. Sent it back for a refund.
