Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally effective at protecting cords and preventing tripping hazards, with many praising its quality and ease of use. However, some customers reported issues with the product not laying flat, even after attempts to heat or flatten it. It may also have difficulty adhering to uneven surfaces. The key strengths are its ability to cover and protect cords, as well as its versatility in accommodating different cord sizes. The main drawbacks appear to be the product's tendency to curl or buckle, especially in colder weather, and the difficulty in getting it to adhere properly to the floor.

You may have to cut it to length.
Would RecommendEasy to use. It came rolled up, so I did have to let it sit out over night to flatted itself.

Flat Object Rolled
Would Not RecommendThe objective of this item is to lay FLAT and reduce the trip hazard. Lowes/manufacturer of this item felt it increased the value of the item to ROLL into a circle, place in a square box. 3 weeks later I'm still taping to keep flat and a trip hazard. A waste as I should have gotten the 4' that laid flat....because it was sold flat. Good luck.

Does the Job
Would RecommendThis worked great covering the extension cord that needed to run across the deck from the railing to the wall outlet. I deducted one star because it wasn't available in black. Also it takes a while with weight on it to get it to lay flat. Other than that, all is good.

Would RecommendLies flat on the floor even without tape.

Useless due to packaging
Would Not RecommendThis product is absolutely worthless. Shipped tightly coiled to the point no way it can lay flat. Sure, if I had tons of spare time I could heat the garbage with a heat gun and maybe get it straight. Whoever approved this packaging needs to be shown the door.
Completely coiled, not flat
Would Not RecommendThis product is completely coiled and won't unroll. Even taking a heat gun to it won't fully relax the original coil, given that it's PVC, making it an absolute trip hazard - which it's supposed to prevent. You'll end up having to tape it down, so you might as well do that for the cord to begin with.
Works as advertised
Came in a box and rolled up. The ends were curled but I used a heat gun to heat it up, stepped on it for about 30 seconds and that flattened it out. Some reviewers complained about this but it's not a huge issue to solve.
