I have had this faucet for 5 months and having issues with the hot water flow, very slow now.

Easy to install with only basic hand tools

This was purchased to replace an other Moen touch on / off faucet that installed in 2008. I used it for about 14 years when it started to leak around the base, I could not get repair parts for it. I'm installing Moen bathroom and tub faucets in two bathrooms next week. While I'm happy with Moen products I have a question for Moen; how do I "But it For Looks, Buy it For Life" if I can't get parts.

Pull-Down Touchless Kitchen Faucet

87014EWSRS-Essie Pull-Down Touchless Kitchen Faucet with MotionSense Wave in Spot Resist Stainless Steel. just bought this on 10/18/2022 and just got it installed on 10/24/2022, so far we are in love with it. nice design.

Easy installation

Just installed today. So far so good. One small feature would be great is to be able to adjust water flow when touchless feature being used. The flow is automatically on full.

Easy Installation

I bought the Moen Essie in June of this year, but was unable to install until my kitchen was remodeled. The installation was simple easy to follow directions, works as designed and my wife is thrilled.

We are really happy with the quality and look of this faucet the sensor on the side is much better than the sensor on the front like my daughters faucet

It's been several months: -every faucet in the house is Moen! * it cleans up well *spray is ok * an appealing look that function well

Major Flaw

The lovely touchless retractable faucet was a wonderful addition to my kitchen for about six months after installation. Then, the water would not shut off. After trying all logical measures I called on my plumber. It was fixed. Then, the water came on by itself and would not shut off. I had to call someone again. (I am physically disabled) Four other times this occurred. Now the water is shut off whenever I am away. It will be replaced soon.

I love the wave feature! You can easily turn the faucet on when your hands are messy without making a mess of the faucet!

3rd try was the charm

I bought this faucet based on how it looks. The first one we installed, the sensor did not work. I took it back and got a replacement. The sensor on the replacement did not work. We called Moen and they sent us a replacement which did work.

Brought 4 months back it stopped working

[Employee of moen] I bought 4 months back now it stopped working niether senor nor manual operation works. I tried changing batteries and disconnecting power chord and data link cable. I need a new control box probably

Terrible design

Wow, Im a plumber and bought this for our house in Costa Rica, Did not realize this was only batterie operated, once the batteries run out, the faucet will not work without them. I get the sensor needs batteries but why could you not have a feature to bypass the batteries or sensor. Im going to replace it with a Grohe or some god old fashion faucet. DO NOT BUY

Flawed Design

A year after install no water would come out at all, even after the batteries were replaced and the reset instructions followed. NO WATER at all would come out -- even manually. The design is flawed. They will replace the parts under warranty, but then you will need to pay to have someone fix it if you can't do it yourself. Then what??? A year from now you can pay a plumber again to come out and fix it when it breaks again. Why would I keep this or buy another Moen ever?

Poor quality. Poor temperature control

Bought this faucet since my last moen leaked. The washer btwn the faucet and granite is very cheap and leaks. Granite is always wet thanks to the poor design of the wave control on the side. But the biggest problem in the temperature control. Every time the water is turned on it is at a different temperature when the hand control is in the same position. This has caused many occasions when the handle is in a middle position and it’s waved on and temp is never the same. Can be extremely hot when ...
