Deceptive description

All reviews point to a faulty spray head, however the ‘service kit’ includes the hose assy etc too. I have replaced my sprayer twice and not interested in having a collection of hose assemblies. Can the fine folks at Moen come up with a solution to offer only the sprayer as a repair item?

Exact replacement for my old one. Mine had finally developed a hole in the hose, so I replaced it with this one. So far, so good.

Poorly Designed Moen Side Sprayer Replacement Kit

Similar to the other reviews of this product, the side sprayer trigger sticks and this results in the sprayer spraying water whether you want it to or not. Getting sprayed with water the first time is funny, but not ideal for a functioning kitchen. I have not figured out a way to fix the problem so will likely have to purchase another knowing it will likely fail as well. Defective

This item came defective out of the box. It was such a hassle to install it, only for it not to work. We ended up calling our plumber to see if it was something we did but he informed us that it indeed was the sprayer malfunctioning.

Broken under 18 months

The valve that allows and prevents waters from going thru, stopped working after 18 months. IM NOT interested in CHEAP!!

Poorly Designed Side Sprayer

After reading other reviews concerning Moen kitchen faucet side sprayers I agree with these customers. My sister purchased a Moen kitchen faucet due to it supposedly having a excellent product rating. The side sprayer experienced total failure after one year of use. It is totally made of plastic and can not be counted on to operate properly over time. Buy it for looks, but engineering can be average

You have to buy the entire hose kit to get the faucet sprayer that failed. There are other selections of sprayers available, but they don't fit the Moen connection.

stuck sprayer

sprayer stuck and flooded our kitchen! now I have to replace floors and some of the cabinets. I guess moen saw us coming.

Doesn't Last a Year

I have had to replace this sprayer at least once every year for the same reason many others have stated, the valve stops functioning. I have disassembled, cleaned and lubricated the valve as one reviewer suggested and the valve worked again, for about an hour then it was stuck again. For the price I am paying for a cheap plastic sprayer I expect it to last longer. This is the level of quality I expect from a cheap store brand, not a name like Moen. Handle became stuck when water was running and over time finally stuck permanently. Already have to replace. Not apparently serviceable. If I could open it up and clean it out, or realign whatever is causing it to stick, I wouldn't have a problem, but it needs to be entirely replaced after less than a year. This is the second one that failed on me!

Stuck Sprayer Remedy

Hard water is the culprit! Craig at Lowe's in Kyle Texas helped me figure this out. To fix, remove the cap and an aerator will fall out and the trigger will fall off. Inside the sprayer you will see a white valve with a tiny tip. With pliers gently grab the tip and push in and out until it moves freely. Then apply vinegar as pushing in and out. GETS STUCK

This will be the third time my sprayer will have to be replaced. I have lived in other places for more than 10 years and never had to replace these things until now!! I have had to replace three of these and now a fourth time. The top trigger gets stuck and I can't figure out why.
