Light sanding is key.
Refinished a master bed set. Turned out to my liking. Used mineral spirits as I worked my way true single quart to assist in balancing the stain appearance. Would recommend.

Shelf for stuff
Would RecommendPurchased this to color my new homemade pine shelf. Color is great had a couple of runs but that's on me. Sanded and reapply. For my first try staining I'm happy.

Cannot be brushed on and left
Would Not RecommendI applied the product with a brush on sanded wood, but you could see the brush strokes, which didn't soak in. I had to rub off the excess with a rag and repeat. It looks okay, but I don't see the advantage to using this, as opposed to staining and then applying a finish. I won't be buying this type of finish again.
