Avoid shortcuts.

Even with much preparation and a good brush this product had terrible results. I tried to shortcut my project and should have used a wipe-on stain and spray on poly.

MinWax Polyshades are the best. The colors are true wood hues, without the green or purple undertones that other stain manufacturers use to tone their colors. This color is a rich, natural reddish brown that layers up to almost black with a deep red glow. It's gorgeous.
