Does Not Clean

My landlord purchased this less than 6 months ago. It has yet to get my dishes clean. The dishes have to be pretty close to spotless going in. The LED lights stopped working within about a month. I am very disappointed as this is the first dishwasher I have had in 10 years.

DOA - The machine will not power up

I purchases the Midea Dishwasher on 10/2. Lowes delivery was on time the morning of 10/8. The package was in perfect condition. I took my lunch to install our new dishwasher but the machine will not turn on. Verified 112v at the power box on the dishwasher AND the 15 year old LG it replaced worked fine on Monday before I took it out. Verified the connections and finally called Medea Customer Support at 1:30pm, about 4 hours after it was delivered. I spent about 20 minutes troubleshooting and act...

Installation Nightmare

I love the machine. I own three of them. But the installation crew was the worst, didn’t finish, had to call another company to complete installation, will never use Lowe’s again.

Pass on Midea

We purchased this dishwasher in Sept 2022 and already, the closing latch has broken THREE times. It only had a 1 year warranty when we bought it, and the first time, a technician fixed it. Not that it's complicated, but why spend the time and money to fix something that has a warranty. Six months later, the latch broke again. They sent us a courtesy latch and my husband put it in without issue. A couple months after that... guess what? Broken again. And since it's out of warranty, I'll have to b...

Quiet, Cleans Great, Some Buttons Don't React to Touch

Pros: I like the light inside. The unit cleans great and dries fairly well. It's pretty quiet for the most part. Cons: The "wine stem holders" are a nuisance and I can't figure out how to remove them. The upper spray arm is plastic. Biggest Con: Some of the control panel buttons require repeated and very firm pressure to get them to engage, specifically the power button and the heated dry button.

Leaks!!! Do not buy!!!

Bought this dishwasher 1/13/2024. 4 months later it started leaking. Called Lowes (Zion Crossroads, VA). They sent the original installer back out who said it wasn't level. He reinstalled it. A week later it started leaking again. So we called Midea. 1st service call the guy said one of the plastic covers for the screw that holds in the dishwasher wasn't in all the way. Not a quality product

I bought this dishwasher since my other one went out. The sales person said this brand is just as good as the Samsung I have had. However, it is no where near as good. It is extreamely loud. Along with it leaked water from around the door. I called and they sent out a repair person. He said it was not lever. So he fixed it. Now it still leaks and is just not a dishwasher to waste your money on. Do not buy.

Washes dishes well

The dishwasher works very well - the cycle is quiet and the dishes come out clean. It does take much longer than our previous dishwasher but I understand that's for water/power conservation. There is a quick was function to cut time a bit shorter. Compared to our older GE, the build on this washer feels flimsy. The door isn't stiff, the baskets jiggle as they slide in and out. It just doesn't feel like it will last. But ultimately we did buy it to wash dishes.

Worth looking into.

My Review

This is the quietest unit out there. I love the looks and does not have a handle that sticks out, and ketches on everything when you go by. I like the location of the controls. I have had this unit for four months now. My old unit took 72 minuets from start to finish. And they where completely dry, 100%. This unit takes twice as long and the dishes are not dry. No matter what you do they are still wet. I wish it had a prewash soap dispenser. I think it would help for the real dirty dish...

Don’t be afraid

While initially hesitant to try a relatively unknown brand, so far this dishwasher has been excellent. It’s very quiet, washes and dries well, and has some very cool features and functions

We pushed this dishwasher because the salesman at Lowe's recommended it. I came home looked it up read the reviews and almost canceled my order. I thought I would try it and see. I had never heard of this brand. That was another concern. I have been pleased so far, I have had it for 3 months now so far so good. It cleans dishes good and no spots on glasses, it it quiet running. I hope over time it continues and bad reviews don't come true for me, we shall see. So far very Pleased
