Do not buy.

We had this freezer just under 2 years- bought May 8, 3023. It completely died and wasn't worth repairing, even with a year left on the extended warranty. We neatly lost everything in the freezer as a result. Should have known better than to buy a brand we'd never heard of, regardless of how good the reviews were.

Not bad fo price

This freezer was ALMOST perfect for our needs. I only wish that they would have included an alarm for power interruption or door ajar and an exterior power light would have been appreciated. Otherwise its everything we needed and price was decent.

Midea freezers are CRAPPPPPPPPPPPP

First Midea freezer still going strong after 8 years; second freezer lasted only 9 months. Third Midea purchased with a warranty -- Lowe's can pay for the next one. Only purchased Midea to begin with because it was $330 less than GE Whirlpool, etc. -- ALL made in PRoC anyway, so why spend the extra $?

Freezer motor went out in 4 months

Purchased in January of this year and the motor has already failed. Service came out to diagnose relatively quick. Thankfully, the unit was approved to be replaced under the warranty. Here is the kicker, they want us to load the freezer up and return to store for the replacement. We paid for delivery because we didn't want to hassle with lifting it in the first place. This freezer is a great product and the size is perfect for our needs. We have had this freezer for several months and have had no issues.

Questioning the wisdom of our purchase!

Purchased this unit just under a year ago, a few months ago it started beeping and the temperature, which was set at zero began rising...it is now around 70 degrees according to the thermometer we placed in it.
